Don’t recall a single moment thinking about the ball was too hard because of the cold. Remember I lived outside Cleveland for a bit. Much much colder temps we’d play football just for fun. But get outside the T box is exactly what our extremely athletic Qb attempted to do. But…yep there’s more….but the TE chip blocked another defender on the edge as part of double team blocking him also. Lane didn’t get a hold of him so he got back there to finish Hurts off before he could get out of the T box. Lane should have done better. Heck…maybe the chip block on the defender actually made it more difficult for Lane. Hurts fleeing for his life from the free rushing right up the gut defender trying to get outside the T box clearly made it more challenging for Lane.

The object of the game is to keep your opponents from scoring not give them 2 free points and the ball. You gotta be more aware in your own EZ. Hurts is not a rookie.
