Dickerson and Cam had a double team assignment on the guy that pressured Hurts. He busted right into Hurts face. Two Pro Bowlers supposed to block one guy and neither barely touches him. But you’re pissed at Hurts there? Crazy!

Hurts did an unbelievable job making sure to just hold on to the ball and take the S.

 

Frankly I’m embarrassed for you to have made that statement Cook. Hold you to a higher standard my man. Pro Bowl C and All Pro G both completely whiff double teaming the guy getting a straight rush up the middle to attack Hurts. What the heck you want him to do after those guys flailed so so so badly? If he just chucks it away it’s a penalty and deemed a S anyway.

I think a previous version of Hurts very possibly fumbles in the Endzone trying to be Superman getting away. Taking the S was a goodplay by Hurts IMO

Make him handoff...you just got 4 yards

Make him hand off on 2nd and 7 

You do that in those 2 instances and you aren't stressed.   

I feel the Rams had to sell out to stop the run... they weren't afraid of 6 or 7 yard runs ...the normal death by paper cut that is the run game..they were fearing the knock out run from Barkley.   I would have ran more...traded 5 or 6 more 1 yard gains for a potential long run.

Also...they kept converting that first drive on 3rd down.... blitz for once . They started blitzing 2nd half and it worked.  

I really am not agreeing with Tony Romo’s commentating here at the end. Bad strategy and bad math.

Darius Slay was very noticeably limping into the locker room after the game

I hope we blitz more next week..  4 guys aren't going to get to Daniels like they did to Stafford. 

Best way to cover a WR is to prevent the QB from throwing.

Rewatch that play...  I know your agenda with Gainwell... Becton messed up on that play... cost us at minimum a FG attempt. 

Hurts is getting crucified by our local media guys .... you pointed out some legit blocking issues. 

I'm suggesting calling a pass instead of a run in a few of those key situations would have prevented that in the first place. 

Today was not the day to prove how smart of a play caller you are or that your QB has been getting unfairly criticized or you can pass the ball.   You play right into the Rams defenses hands there.  They feared the run...they have a fast DL and sent extra rushers.

The end of the half was botched big time clock management there.   

In general the offensive play calling kept the Rams in the game IMO

Dropped INTs and two missed extra points....the extra points didn't change the fact it was a one score game...I put that 3rd behind the play calling and DBs not making interceptions. 

Lane's false start... Becton downfield.... 2 penalties that probably took 8 points off the board. 

 

Your QB starts with a long run... you don't use him in the running game any more...instead you use the pass in the worse weather to counter them keying on Barkley. 

Gainwell only touches it twice ...ten yards both times he touched it looking like he had much better footing than the defense?  

Lots of things way before looking to blame the QB ... 

Anyway move on to next week.  Doesn't matter how it looks, just win.

It was a bit tense for me there at the end LOL. But playoff football now, No easy team left. The refs sure assist KC plenty, It's really TOO obvious now

Just wondering 🤔 is Siri still a terrible HC if he gets back to a 2nd SB???? Would be the only HC in franchise history to go to two SB for us. On top of being the only coach to make the playoffs first 4 years…. 
 

Siri is a hot head at times but the results speak for themselves dude a pretty good HC

Never been a huge Siri fan but you can't dispute his results.  Playoffs every year and a trip to the SB, maybe 2

There are about 30 teams in the league that would  love that record.
