If you're head hunting, it's pretty stupid to announce it. Difference between head hunting and trash talking. So now the entire city is going to be even more fired up,but maybe the refs will call them for any little thing. Idiots never know when to keep their mouths shut

Sounds like trying to get in Hurts head to just get down and avoid making plays

Maybe hesitate considering the statement before taking off running

Good find on keys to success…stats can be funky at times

5 of the top 20 Remarkable Rushing yard rushes this season were performed by Saquan Barkley. Basically yards gained after expected in a given play.

Really sounding like a strong possibility Cam isn’t going to suit up. Dickerson really focusing on C duties this week.

That's what I think... if you are facing Hurts... his running is what you would prefer to avoid.  When he runs, now the entire playbook is on the table.

So let's look at it...Elliot has kicked in 8 playoff wins right?

3 in 2017

1 in 2018

2 in 2022

2 in 2024 ( 25 but 24 season)

He missed one in the SB?   Both games this year?

What's the other game?

But still 8 playoff wins!

Steelers haven't won in 9 years. We went 9 years before that without a playoff win.    It's a nice little time period for team success.

Lane, Elliot, Lavato... 8 playoff wins probably franchise record.

Cam is resting... Dickerson is the #2 C .they use him when Cam sits out a practice.  The way Dickerson made it sound was that it was no big deal.

Another pass blocking example of what the heck was Becton thinking here? I’m not going to blame Gainwell….he can’t even hardly get around Becton to cover for him here. This play was almost a complete disaster.

Them knowing us so well and the main coaching point they harped on last offseason with Hurts was to get down and not get injured.

This was the play you originally blamed Gainwell....I already brought this up that after watching the rerun later that night...you could see it was Becton...Gainwell was exactly where he was supposed to be.

This is what I was saying... mental errors... the two by Becton and the false start by Lane...very uncharacteristic.   We could have easily put up close to 50 before even worrying about anything bad from Hurts.

Them being scared s$%#less of Hurts running as we would have put up close to 50 in Washington if he stayed in...Hurts ran well early and their run defense has zero chance unless it's a stacked box vs the RB with zero chance the QB runs.

Anything at all that Hurts can give running... and Washington is in big trouble because Barkley will have a huge day unless they commit 💯 to stopping him.

Pete Carroll took over in Vegas

I’m saying the mental errors pass blocking are an issue. Just haven’t gotten enough snaps against all the varying scenarios. It seems to be a work in progress issue concerning the receivers and QB being on the same page also.

Basically what AJ said several weeks back.

I read somewhere, maybe here, that Elliot leads the league in field goal percentage

He is also last in the league in XP percentage

It's all in his head

I get the agenda " I called it the pass blocking is bad ...nothing is ever Hurts fault...Siri sucks , Howie is lucky...the great O mind ...etc  Ziggy Anzah stuff

The pass blocking has been elite for the season... BG just showed the time Hurts held the ball for all 7 sacks...etc.

These mental mistakes are not common from our OL...that's the point from Sunday.

AJ was talking about his QB...everyone knows it.  Hurts was awful vs Carolina.

Sunday vs the Rams... he wasn't great,  but the he was nowhere near the top of reasons why they had some issues.  2 sacks regardless of being a safety or taking out of FG range was only 5 points... the OL and AJ drop on 4 plays puts the score near 50. Bigger issues... on those 4 plays ...not that there have been constant issues all season long.

The Saints too.

Will be curious in Detroit...losing both coordinators,  I wonder how many of their staff each of them brings along.

That's the issue losing BOTH coordinators,  they bring guys with them and it's a lot if coaches to replace.

Every sack against the rams minus 1 Hurts had 3.5 secs or more to throw the ball…. Again that is way longer then the avg time to throw in the NFL.

Blaming the OL is just real laziness… even the safety were there was definitely a miscue on blocking Hurts at like 3.2 secs in the pocket.

Now the bigger issue seems to be guys not getting open and Hurts not throwing the ball

Not many remarkable rushing yards behind the LOS LOL. How do you know before the play how many yards are expected?

AJ stated all the things I said. He was talking about the O. It’s only your agenda Hurts Hating clouding your judgement.
