But heck…even Rosie was scouting Pickett and a terrible QB class stocking picks looking to bail on Hurts the very next season. I’m telling you …Rosie was drafting Pickett. If the disaster that Rosie created played out any other way…we reach for trading to get Pickett. Not trading for AJ or drafting Nolan…or whichever lost picks occurred as a result.
January 31, 20251 yr Terrible over his head first time coach calling plays just heading for everybody getting fired. Coaches, QB…probably even Rosie. 2-5 start I believe. Weak roster. But quality guys that we did have in place that season. Siri sucking so incredibly bad…he had to last ditch let Steichen take over. Siri wasn’t making it to week 10 his first HC job….with an organization that doesn’t ever knee jerk.

We all know my opinion…Hurts willed us to victory eeek after week with Steichen carrying Siri…saving his career. With a favorably schedule. But what’s favorable for our 2021 team…we weren’t that talented…weren’t brilliant coaching. A 2 win team is what we were.

I feel we should have won it. I believe Pedey and Schwartz would have grabbed a second ring. Just can’t see AR dicing up Schwartz like he was so far out of his league…like Gannon showed. Way too much talent on that D. Worst D performance. So was it all super fantastic we lost the SB? Or did ego get in the way firing the coaches that would have won the SB? Good and bad all here. Put together the personnel…but botched the coaching. Kind of feels big time to me Rosie let that once in a lifetime setup slip away. Lost us that SB.
