To me, Reddick is an elite pass rusher. Worth a first round pick. But I don’t see Rosie pulling anything near that out of this.

Your right Reddick is 30 and wants 25m a year so you want Howie to fleece a team into not only taking Reddick paying him 25m a year but also parting ways with a 1st to do so????

Reddick is a very good pass rusher but he isn’t that game wrecker like an Aaron Donald who just retired. Outside of QBs honestly very few guys I think could demand a 1st rounder in a trade that’s 30+

Siri nicknamed him The Closer. Obviously made a very huge play in that NFC Championship game.

That's half correct... they cut Reddick or trade him...post June they save cap space.   Think about it...last year of the deal.. they pay a salary that comes off the books.

Still... I agree that the restructure seems the way to go....just be dumb to overpay.

Where did a say that? You mentioned a 1st rounder for Reddick yes I think that would be fleecing a team for an aging pass rusher even if he is still good…

90 is a 3rd that sounds about right for Reddick if we trade him maybe a lower end 2nd

And plenty of guys post double digit sacks and they are very good pass rushers it’s a far cry from a game changing caliber player like an Aaron Donald.

Let’s just flip this offer for a minute if Reddick was on the cardinals or any other team posted 11 sacks and was an avg. at best run defender that’s 30 years old and wanted a new contract making more. Would you be throwing a 1st round pick at the team for him???? 
 

I can guarantee you would be complaining how we not only gave up valuable compensation in draft picks but how we had to pay him a big deal

With Ham it's all formal.  He just said..." he's our closer"  it was during the baseball run that the Phillies had.   So he used a baseball term..

Now he was " nicknamed"   

Ham likes the nicknames... it makes him feel part of the group. 

Besides the players,looking forward to seeing what the new coaches will do. I hope we blitz more than usual and would like to see this offense opened up on steroids
