April 4, 20251 yr Author So looking at the guys we had in(which I assume doesn't count pro day visits which I wish they would have an ENTIRE list of who we worked out) I found some interesting things. We have our round 1 choices, Most of the heavy visits are round 3 picks. Round 2 and 4 guys are very sparse as far as visits go(there is only 1 at each round in 2 and 4 and I like the round 4 CB from Cal)) Of course without a complete list of everything, it's impossible to tell for sure, but I found this interesting. With this data(albeit sparse) there is a heavy assumption we move back in round 2 for more round 3 picks since that is where the bulk of our visits have been. Lots of good players(projects with ability to play soon) and the bulk of our OT visits are round 3 guys. I have no idea which of those is our preference, but it seems 3 is where the OT will go. Round 2 is only Mbow, the OG and I really believe Howie wants an OT that can compete at RG,or win that job while prepping to take over for lane later. ROund 3 guys needs work and can sit so that makes sense to me. I will list our round 1's in the next post
April 4, 20251 yr Author Round 1 prospects- Hairston-CB, Conerly-OT, Jackson-OG/swing T Ezeik(whatever) -edge Scourton- edge So one of these appear to be our round 1 pick. After that as I said it would appear Howie moves back from round 2 for more round 3/4 picks. Round 5 guys there have been alot of also, which makes sense since we have 4 of those. SO with the info I have that's what I am seeing
April 4, 20251 yr Author I know we had a few TE's in,but I wish there was a list of ALL of these visits, they are all over the place and hard to track
April 4, 20251 yr Author Walter Nolen has been a common round 1 pick for us,but IDK if we had him in. The info(or lack of) is very hard to deal with
April 4, 20251 yr Author I'm a bit shocked we did not visit with alot more DT's I also found that intersting

I know Hurts trusts Wilson if the kid can stay on the field. ASmith needs to show me something or he needs to go away and this guy here would be direct competition for the slot spot. Can also play out to cover AJ if injured
April 4, 20251 yr Author https://247sports.com/college/tennessee/article/2025-nfl-combine-donte-thornton-jr-tennessee-vols-wide-receiver-40-time-fastest-players-246375400/ Dude is BIG,heavy yet FAST Dude put up some combine numbers that impressed me,good vert,he has all the tools to be a top WR with time and refinement. Needs to expand his route tree and learn to make better cuts. All the attributes are there just need to bring them out

April 4, 20251 yr Just now, cunninghamtheman said: You are acting like injuries never occur in football Just like you did when you tried to use that tiny sample to start last season …as Hurts is so bad…instead of learning the new O. Oline injuries. Mainly AJ….although you have that Tampa game where Smitty and AJ didn’t suit up…..think Lane also.
April 4, 20251 yr I mean having a backup for AJ is just a good idea. Maybe a luxury we can’t afford. But I think it’s a great idea. Because he’s not just this Oline backup that doesn’t play. Or at best plays out of position at first. A WR can get on the field a ton.

But I’m more proactive and looking ahead and planning. Staying the same in the NFL is death. What better switch up than to add a WR and go four WR formations?

April 4, 20251 yr Can Siri and Patullo for the first time show signs they can draw up plays that are multiple on the same look. You never just have a look with a single play attached….well other than Siris first several years.
April 4, 20251 yr Can they come up with the scheme and reasoning for everybody in these new added plays? Like versus this coverage you adjust like so….expectations.
