If you want to blame the coaching staff you have a point, but that' is not Howies problem, that is LURIES. Howie has done another outstanding job giving Hurts all the tools and now the excuses have run out

Rosie hasn’t provided everything you could think of. Rosie has been in the way and a problem.

I mean how much more do you want Howie to provide?
top 5 OL???

Top WR duo????

you love to mention how we had a top pass rush in 2022 they also had a top pass unit that year.

Can’t name a single team that covers every hole but Howie has done a pretty solid job giving a talented roster

Ham has to get the excuses started earlier if things fall apart lol can’t ever put anything on Hurts he has no weaknesses always everyone else fault

With us likely extending Smith would we keep AJ Brown next season? We have an out in 2025?

he is only 26 so what 27-28 next year not sure when his birthday falls likely still a strong option for at least 2-3 years if not longer.

Also he had some added drama this last season and his target share could take a hit even more with Smith starting to come into his own

Just curious what everyone thoughts are for him

Great receiver. I'd keep him as long as there is gas in the tank. Maybe 2-3 more years, by 30-31 you are getting up there

I like AJ not opposed to this but he will need a new deal after this year contract spikes up to think 26-27m next year against the cap then like 41m in 2026

Well let's look at this year so far. Howie got Bark, Howie made amends with CJG and got him back. he extended Smith and added Huff. Howie picked up 2 guys we can try in the slot(Parker and Paris if Hurts can find them). He re-signed the TE from Denver and went out and got Uzomah who was decent in Cincy and this is all before the draft. So he didn't get all the other defense you wanted. he can't afford to get them all or you become Dullaz with cap space issues annually. He's on a "GM of the year" roll yet he is the problem?? Please!!!

He made amends for screwing up the D coaching with his Desai/Patricia fiasco he solely created by just getting Fangio

Except Desai/Patricia was a Siri decision lol he had final say. Maybe Howie did introductions to get them the interview but Siri made the call it was the one thing they never gave Doug

Vic honestly feels like Howie/Lurie stepping in saying hey this is going to be your DC same with Moore. Honestly part of the reason I could see this whole thing crashing and burning this season

So you completely left coaching out of your statement. For what reason do you not see that as a factor in anything?

Yes...because you will use that excuse until eternity to shift blame from the running high school QB who has one skill in the passing game....he can throw the slant and short out accurately to get the YAC....otherwise he has trouble seeing over the middle,  doesn't dump it off quickly enough when the deep route isn't there, underthrows the deep routes,  takes 2 yard sacks out of bounds instead of flocking the ball away,  struggles reading defenses before the snap to adjust blocking,  struggles rolling to his left, and still struggles on plays with multiple reads.

But he runs well.  That's why he is in the league. Take away the running and he is a below average passer.

The GM gave him an offense full of talent.  You aren't fooling everyone on every play call.   Players still need to win the game.

Rosie is the one that fired the previous staff over his ego. Been manipulating it the whole time. He was the guy that fired and hired the whole way. He telegraphed that very obvious step last season of firing Desai for Patricia. We had Fangio in house ready to take over the D …but Rosie screwed it all over hurt feelings over his boy Gannon.

Not at all. Rosie decisions all the way. He hired and setup the whole situation. Then demoted Desai for Patricia just like he setup. That wasn’t Siri’s doing.

Rosie is the only real blocker from Fangio not already being here for last season. This was already prearranged. Knew Gannon was likely leaving and had Fangio ‘in house consulting’. All that needed to happen was Fangio moving into the huge office.

I agree...I give Howie / Lurie all the blame for the rest of the league being more successful over the last 8 years!

100% their fault.

How did Howie prevent Fangio from being the DC last year?   You always say this but never confirm the time-line???  Why is that?

Well...Arizona violated league policy bu contacting Gannon too late...if they did it on time, I absolutely believe Fangio would have been our DC.... but since it seemed Gannon was staying, he interviewed and accepted the job in Miami prior to everything happening with Gannon and Arizona.

Been looking at our draft. HR may still be gun shy after Sydney to go secondary in the 1st, just feel he should buck going lines until the 2nd and take DeJean 1st. Guyton ( who I like) and Fautanu ( who Stoutland likes ) should both be there early 2nd, DeJean won't be. As for the G vs T thing, Fautanu projects to be a G from what I've been reading. Guyton is built like Lane, will take at least a yr, maybe 2 to be a starting RT and may not be as good at G until then. Know Lane said he wants to play a few more yrs, but he's 34. Lurie's said we build more towards the future. Feel with all of that Guyton is the better pick in the long run, even if that means sitting and filling in for a yr or 2.

Fautanu has also played strictly left side so should be out of the picture, don't know why Stout's so enamored

Because it's not about college...it's about how they project in the pros.   They look for certain traits ...not where they played or what system I'm college.

Think about it...the kid doesn't choose his particular system or the exact way he will be used in college.  Should we really put that much stock in the system their coach employs at ages 18-20?

He’s a really good looking player….believe he is main holdup is arm length and hand size….why most are calling him a G.

How many games did Dickerson play LG in his life before moving there as a rookie for the Eagles?

Keep the duo.  Barring anything weird happening.

I believe Moore was Siri for sure.

Rumor of Marshawn Lattimore being on the trade block.
