Agreed! Green Bay need to be all in on the next couple of years. This is a big move that makes them much better but also impacts their ability to add young blue chip talent.

How old is Parsons? Young guaranteed stud difference maker. Better than blind swing at the draft…talking late in the round at that:

lol didn’t I ask if Epps might start and you said Mukuba Vic hand picked DB yet now you backtracking and saying Epps

Mukuba is injured. You gotta keep up. Mukuba can’t start with an injured hamstring. Exactly explaining the reasoning behind Epps.

Completely whiffed would indicate you think everyone I have as a starter is wrong lol you prefer two different guys lol.

Epps and Bennett I could see both guys end up taking over as starters but again just don’t see it week 1 day 1 happening

I grant you I respect your opinion. I’m thinking Fangio rather just get the guys out there he needs to actually work in the mix with everybody. Taking some lumps is acceptable. It gives Vic the look to adjust.

YOU said DeJean would move out because that's where the "big money" is. D\on't lay your guilt tri on 93

I just regurgitated the facts. Really felt like DeJean(agent) actually was the one pointed it out. I said he can just stay in the Slot. He wants outside. But I told you Outside is the position he is least ready to play. But S? That’s the compromise. Trust in Fangio. You think he hasn’t been through all this kind of crap before?

You gotta try and keep up. Money! It’s not in the Slot…but practically everywhere else.

I believe Fangio actually gave DeJean a harsh lesson in he wasn’t ready for outside…right in OTAs. Then tells him…but…he can get him in at S….so he can get his big payday.

McKee lost his trade value with the career ending thumb injury.

Just like that. These things are so fickle. Heck he lit it up and looked fantastic in the first PS game…versus the Bengals. About as low a bar as it gets.

Well... he is correct now. Whichever happens here called it. You know how this works by now. You just can't see the intangibles

I broke things down very specifically…with very educated guessing. Blankenship has the intangibles to lead. You were dead stuck on paying Ceedy Duce. Because hey…he made some interceptions. But he was terrible at tackling. Horrible angle of pursuit. Intangibles? Leadership? He was vocal and loud…he believed he was a leader. But not the guy for all that. Missing those key intangibles.

Mukuba is a starter. His issue is durability.

lol you just said Epps is starting now you back tracking to say Mukuba make up your mind both are not starting week 1 which was the question I asked day 1 who starting.

Who or how many teams you have as contenders above Green Bay? Then add in their the youngest team in the league. You actually are complaining about they can’t add youth to the youngest team?

Great move for Dallas... Jerry might be starting to get it now. Green Bay obviously a little desperate. Reminds me of the Saints a few years ago.

Cowboys need to rebuild. The team they built accomplished zilch. Actually pretty smart of Jerruh. I would have ditched Dak and kept Parsons…but they weren’t legit contenders…gotta change it up.

Cowpies saved 19 mill, incurred no dead money, and now have 42 mill cap.

They'll see Parsons week 4, we'll see him week 10. Want to watch jerruh's face when Parsons sacks Dak.

Some over on their boards are glad to see him go, others are sticking forks in their season and calling for the Jones's heads. Personally, I hope the Jones's run (ruin) that team for years to come.

Jerruh stirred up the big story to make the cowboys relevant. That’s all he needed to do there. Drug it out as long as he could to stay in the news. Otherwise? Cowboys aren’t really worthy to discuss.

Not sure all those situations were equal to compare.

It’s definitely fair to compare the situations Vic didn’t start the 9th overall draft pick and arguably the best CB in the league Patrick Surtain day 1 back in 2021 being behind Ronald Darby and Kyle Fuller two vets.

At some points the rookies get on the field and generally take over for him but again it’s rarely day 1

See you foolishly just believed his value was so easily cemented so high. It wasn’t at all. It was one PS game …versus a terrible D.

How else would you describe it?

Howie and Siri's targets... I agree

Explain Siri role in personnel decisions

Epps hasn’t been in Vic system yes he played for Gannon very similar but it was for Vic himself don’t see him cracking the lineup week 1 as a starter.

Mukuba healthy or not don’t see Vic starting a rookie S to start the season.

So stick with the starter week 1 opposite Reed will be Brown.

CB- honestly could see it going either way Adoree or Bennett neither would shock me just leaned the veteran since that tends to be the way Vic leans throughout his career

I won’t say you don’t have any quality points. But what I witnessed was Fangio wants to put together his entire D unit. So going with a guy not totally ready isn’t a deal breaker. Because the guy can coach. So he’ll teach the D how to work together. Plus it allows him to adjust and figure out personnel solutions.

Sidney just isn’t Vic’s guy. I like him….but that means very little. Talking S here BG. You don’t think Fangio can put Epps in any easy roles he could perform week one?

So many just standard roles for S. Like 60-70 percent is very standard across most all Ds.

One high deep S, Epps can handle. Two high S half the field deep zone, yep Epps gets that. Cover 3? Plenty of nuisances…but Fangio can teach on the fly.

It makes them a legit threat I believe. You either contending or building towards the future. What’s it take to contend? Especially just in the NFC. Gotta beat the Eagles!!!

Packers got big question marks to answer. Great move…figure out if they got the right guys going forward or not.
