Buddy he would be WR 6 next like he would be the very next man up…. The reality is if we are forced to use WR6 we are not in a good spot to start

He’s expendable

Yessss!!! It’s that time again!

We get to play vs your "special talent" Sanders.

I was believing there was a point to AJ Dillon to take some of that load off.

Take off what load???? Carries for Barkley???? That why we have RB2 will shipley…. But on top of that also why I stated depending on the confidence we have in Ben as a ball carrier if we wanted another bigger RB.

Ben is again 6’2 230 and ran a 4.4 AGAIN not saying he can do it but the coaches would have a better idea then me and it would as I stated help free up an extra game day roster spot

Yes and your point being??? He is on the practice squad for a reason.

Calling up a guy that gives us both WR depth and PR sounds about normal. Would he be the next WR up if we need someone long term no I hope not but bottom game day roster spot were you want guys to do more then just play 1 position yea he makes sense

I was reading Patullo said "there will be new wrinkles added as the season progresses" And now we know BVS can catch, so there's that TE2 screen up the middle that could be a "wrinkle". Like let the pass rush come through,Hurts tosses a little screen over them to BVS at the LOS and he's plenty big enough to get YAC's. With all the excellent guys we have, we can afford a few gadget plays to the "unknowns"

We brought back Terrance Marshall to the PS also if I'm not mistaken. It's a pity that Marshall doesn't work at his craft. he could be very good. In FL I saw him often with the Gators,he was a lazy WR back then. he has the talent to be alot better, but apparently he is fine making very good money in a BU role not having to do alot

My guess Marshall will end up being that Parris Campbell type player the actual next man up at WR if we have a string of injuries

93,my boy ASmith signed with Carolina PS. Could bode well as a slot for Young

Isn’t Renfrow with the Panthers as well? I know lot of people wanted him as well also works out of the slot.

I'm glad they addressed WR some. I don't really follow them alot, but like my time in Ohio, I am a fan by default LOL

We have Metchie also so not sure as to the reasoning adding Marshall back in,but we have some depth we needed. Could be a trade piece later I suppose

I think we see Dillon used if Barkley is tearing it up so we aren't pushing Bark to the limits of usage. He is "superman" but he gets tired too if we run him too often. Going to be a very interesting year. Barkley may not hit 2,000 yards again. We need him to extend his career as long as possible. BVS can sub in also. even without Bark we have threats all over the field. I feel bad for opposing DC's(not really though HA)

Shipley is RB2 so image he should be the next man in so Barkley usage can be lowered

lol original plan was Nico/Bucky/Chase Brown but Chase wasn’t anywhere close to falling into the 3rd in my league where I’ve seen lot of people

Projecting him

That role Covey has participated in as a WR has proven too much for him to handle.
