The guy is behind Jackson who stinks and Bennett (just gone to IR I know) who has struggled when he’s come in to the game.Yeah felt like they really wanted Ringo to win the job all along. But he flat failed. Seems like almost a situation where you ponder whether to even keep a guy like that around even.

On occasion you can hit on one(Darius Cooper for example) just like some higher ones bust. Every draft pick has a risk factor. Howie puts in the homework to get the best he can and he moves around to get his guysAll good points, but they are tangential (external) to the original point Ham and I were discussing … prospects who were identified as Draft sleepers. Once the Draft is completed there aren’t any sleepers. All the prospects are now either drafted players, or UDFAs committed to a team, or those who missed the boat entirely. A synonym for "sleeper” arguably is”dark horse”I agree with Ham that APR qualified as a dark horse coming into the Draft. Mondon was never a dark horse.

Really what seemed to happen is Hurts just got fed up with the ultra conservative playing not to lose. Hurts seemed to take over the O and just make it go. Opened it up…stopped playing so scared. All their backs were against the wall. Awareness of that reality was not known solely by Hurts. They responded to that reality as a team … a team that coalesced and collaborated.Regarding "leading” the Defense, how was he able to do that? When they were on the field he wasn’t. When he was on the field they weren’t. They were effectively ships passing in the night. The leadership of the D came from Fangio up in the Booth, and the Defensive players down on the sidelines.

It is a low leverage position. NFL.com had him ranked 106 (4th Round) Draftek had him at 100. Most of the Draft simulators, who aggregate all the various sources, had him going in the 4th as well.

Actually seeming like stud Oline starters aren’t healthy and making it through all season at top form. Dickerson hasn’t been right yet. Lane is in his twilight. Cam seems to be playing through issues fairly routinely. You still aren’t answering the question. Which players do you think are inadequate for their roster position? With those deficient players identified, who do you think are players league-wide wh would be improvements?
