Our D was looking to be real gassed. Something I was already noticing…believe that weather delay benefitted us.

It benefitted both Defenses.

Gassed just before the Half? The results on the field don’t support that. Both the last two Cowboys drives were stopped, while their first two were not stopped. How does your "gassed” conjecture account for that improvement?

Correct. You did.

Huge problem scoring TDs every first half drive... we need to change that next game.

Simple just give more for Hurts to work with. He should just be able to distribute to all these weapons to stay consistently ahead of the chains.

How would you change it? What is your proposed solution to your perceived problem?

I'm not laughing at your post, I am laughing because of the coming 400 page monologue on how things should be done 🤣

We have a talent…it’s not that. I feel confident if given just a fair chance…our guys can get open and make plays.

Then why don't they? It's their job to get open as receivers and it's the QB's job to find them. The job of the defense is to NOT give them that chance. IDK of any play call that says "run slow with poor route breaks so you are covered" Of course if we are back to the 1 read and run there will be limited opportunities for all receivers and no play call in the playbook calls for 1 read

He has the best supporting cast overall in the league. AJ I catch for 8 yards(albeit an important 8 yards) AJ is not going to stay happy with stats like that. Smitty didn't exactly light it up either. Those are 2 highly paid weapons not being used

It's week 1, the first game for many of the 1's. They have to oil the machine and get the dust off. Coaches too so no need to panic. We got the W

Too good to be blanket covered that often with the defenders predicting their routes.

We got the W…but do we have the O coaching to go where we wish?

Are you accusing AJ and Smiity of "running slow with poor route breaks?”

We need to sweep the Bucs this season. Feels like that will mean 2-0

Vic stands by Adooree starting week two

Said Adorre was being evaluated for a concussion were the seven snaps Bennett came on for.

No, we're DOOOOMED. Hurts got married. We are finished

You can't read. I said no one calls those plays. If the Dullaz secondary shut both down we are in a world of hurt. I wasn't aware they had the 2 best CB's in the league. If they were shut down,we are paying out huge amounts for nothing.

If Hurts sees a window but is too afraid and won't throw it, we are in a world of hurt. We have one of the best tandems in football. We can't go back to the 1 read and run. Hurts needs to find these guys

Vic said he hasn’t been tracking Zadarius…so TBD on how quickly he’ll pickup and fit in on the field.

Nothing official yet but.......New Update on His Potential Punishment

On Monday, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk suggested the NFL likely wouldn’t be suspending Carter because the league didn’t announce his punishment that day — which would have given him time to appeal the decision. However, Florio noted a suspension is still very much on the table.

"Per a source with knowledge of the situation, however, a suspension is still on the table. We’re also told that the decision is currently being finalized,” Florio wrote.

Having Carter and some semblance of a pass rush would help the secondray alot. We had zero sacks vs Dullaz, that needs to change

Vic on DeJean "preferably keep him at Nickel.”

Plan was Sidney play the Base snaps with Mukuba playing Nickel—according to Vic

That is a 100,000 foot answer, rather short on specifics. Is it a good 100,000 foot answer?

Let’s look at how much Hurts had to work with on Thursday … to distribute to. He had AJ and Devonta as WR1 and WR2. He had Goedert as TE1. He had Dotson as WR3. And he had Saquon and Shipley in Swing/Flat routes and Checkdowns.

How would you add "more” to that?

Looking at the Gamebook. There were 24 runnning plays by the RBs. 23 passes and 1 sack, so 24 passing plays. And then there were 14 plays where Hurts was the ball carrier. 9 of the 14 were scrambles on passing plays and 5 were designed runs. So in total Patullo called 33 plays designed for a pass and 29 plays designed for a run … 53% passes. Compare that to the 2024 proportion 448 passes and 621 runs, which is only 42% passes.

From those numbers it appears that Patullo gave Hurts 26% "more” opportunities than Hurts got in 2024.

How does you add even "more” to that?

I agree with your first part, but I’m confident that Vic and the Defensive coaches made adjustments during Half Time and what we saw in the Second Half … a shutout … were the result.

After the fumble when Dallas continues to drive right down the field. And then Lamb dropped the ball

You are looking for a passing-first offensive scheme. The Eagles are committed to a running-first offensive scheme.

With that inconvenient reality dispensed with, what changes would you implement to get the WRs open. They were blanketed/bracketed by the Cowboys on Thursday … CB low and Safety high … on both AJ and Devonta. How would your scheme counteract that?

Pass to TE, RB and have the QB run.

Well, so far the 100,000 foot answer he gave was also 100% off target.
