Except when two teams have the same number of Ws and are in the same Division or Conference.

Now you are talking about tie breakers, that's a different animal. A W is still a W and they are both worth the same. If we won all 6 conference games and lost the rest our record would be 6-11. We could win the division with a losing record

FWIW-We are 1-4 vs the Bucs over the last 5 years. Winning this week would be HUGE and without Evans and Godwins first game back we should have NP. I think it will be a tougher game than alot think. They will need inventive ways to make up the stats Evans gave them

BINGO-I already said that Bucky and White need to be contained if you read my earlier posts. I'm not going back over it again

But they have Sterling Shephard

Tampa is 22nd in passing offense (with Evans) 7th is rushing offense.

Baker Mayfield has an injury to his throwing arm, he did not throw at all this week until today's practice.

Godwin has not played for a year.

Last 5 Eagles vs Bucs

Eagles lose and Buc have 119, 111, 106, 102 rushing yards .... Eagles win Bucs have 41 rushing yards

Godwin had 68, 43, 38, 45 yards in the 4 games he played

AJ played in the win, did not play in any of the losses

I would say the two big factors in this game. AJ Brown. And the Tampa rushing game. AJ is playing = advantage Eagles, now we need to stop their rushing game and should be check mate!

Kinda old, low impact IMO. Egbuka should be the top target

T storms 2 days prior none on game day, so it WILL be humid as usual. As I said before keeping our guys hydrated will be very important. You need to keep drinking even though you don't think you need it. Cramps hit fast. I'm glad they went in a day early to get more used to it

Seeing a boatload of Eagles heading down to the game. I wish I could go :(

Ive heard ot could be worse that they went down a day early...more chance to dehydrate.

Who really knows... I think it's all fluff.. take care of your body and use the bench during the game. Gotta stop the run so we keep our defense off the field.

Your body will adjust some. The humidity makes you sweat more and makes breathing a little harder. Kind of the reverse of going to mile high where the air is thin, in FL the air is heavy. It's the reason they invented Gatorade in the first place

It's an excuse to go to FL, the game, and Disney if you have kids. It will fill up your weekend LOL

"When your passing game features players like A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert — it does come as a bit of a surprise that the Eagles ranked 30th in the league with just 181.9 passing yards per game." So we rank behind the Bucs in the passing game. The D and the tush push keep us in games

https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles-team-summary-stats?category=rushing&season=2025&sort=ru_ydsg&sortOrder=desc 14th in rushing. That is also behind the Bucs. Hurts is a TD machine on the ground, Mayfield is not. So stats can be misleading. Just pointing out in the rankings we are behind in both areas, they are 22nd in passing, we are at 30,they are 7th in rushing, we are 14th. I'm not too worried,I still think we win. Missing Evans will hurt them alot. If Hurts gets hot, as Joe thinks, this could be a huge margin of victory. I just think it will be a close game. We need to expend as little energy as possible and not waste any but still outscore them. Thus my prediction for a close game(when it may not be at all). Last game for example we had I think 7 TP's. That is only 7 rushing yards but WOW what a 7!! Very misleading

Tie-breaking "chits" have value. You can't ignore them. Further, they are the result of wins and losses.

In the end the team with the most W's wins. Tie breakers are fairly rare. I'm not going to argue about this anymore. you have your thoughts,I have mine

Yeah...nobody is taking the kids ...lol. That's not the Eagles fanbase...lol

I had a few softball tournaments in Lakeland ( home of Freddie Mitchell) we had to stay in the shade as much as possible. Just warming up with a couple of throws and my shirt was drenched. Definitely different than Philu area, especially this time if year.. it was 83 degrees today but very comfortable.

They played a much weaker schedule...I wouldn't necessarily go by where we are in comparison.

The winner of this matchup in essence goes up 2 games on the other when you include the tiebreaker. We get a win here... you figure Tampa wins the South... that's already a nice edge in getting top 3 in the conference....and it's only week 4.
