Fangio’s Quarters Zone deployment matches up the Boundary CBs on the WRs. Matchup Zone and Man look identical for the Boundary CBs.

I was very frustrated during and immediately after the game about how pathetic the passing game is. But I was even more concerned about the poor running game for a team known for its talented OLine and the best RB in football. Barkley isn’t whining.

I’m worried the lack of effectiveness is going to catch up to this team, OR they will get some things figured out.

Look at the videos of AJ’s targets. He absolutely was open when he made his comeback turn. But the ball wasn’t there when he turned. He had to wait for the ball to arrive, and during that wait time the CB was able to drive on the catch point with the result that at the time the ball arrived he was no longer open.

5th in scoring in 2024.... 7th now...including...an hour weather delay... 2 games at Arrowhead and Tampa vs the great D minds... and half a game where Stout had Pryor at RT

Let's not forget.. the OL from last year was more physical at the guard spots by a mile. Half of Dickerson and Steen is a tactical player not a people mover.

Plus this year the bullseye is there unlike last year.

So far it hasn't been easy. Denver D up next. Much more fun than 2022 or 2023 with that easy schedule until the end of 2023. Already started off vs quality defenses. And quality QBs.

3 revenge games too.

For 14 years we heard " any win in this league...times yours, lets go get a cheeseburger etc..."

Some of that was a little bit of a stretch...but this year 4 nice tests so far. Missing Carter, Goedert, Lane and Nolan respectively too.
