Actually I’m all about getting those Ws this season. I know it isn’t as consistent as I usually predictably demonstrate. But the schedule and the situation aligned this season where we just need to grab those W each week. Not the same situation we went into last season with at all.

OH so it IS 1 week at a time. Welcome aboard. Every seasonal situation is different?

Stuck on yourself much? It's nice to know you agree with your own opinion 🤣

I'm seeing some interesting things online. One is asking if we would take Pederson back as the OC. The Philly Special will always be the best SB play ever. KP definitely under fire, but I don't see him as the only issue.

So the coach running the O doesn’t have much of anything running crisp. Short version!

Not with the deep dive. Same stuff of last 6 years... not winning at the line, not seeing AJ be as explosive etc. Yet Goedert and Smith having career years. See with Duffy... no agenda....you should try it.

Apparently a lot of people you were all for this stuff when it was Wentz but now it’s Hurts under fire and you don’t want to believe any of it…. And it isn’t like these are the first reports coming out about him either clearly something is going on

Idk Ham's is issue... when Hurts gets questioned or challenged he usually steps up ... makes adjustments etc.

I'm loving any adversity he goes through... so far only made him better. For some reason Ham looks at Hurts like a special needs kid that just needs to be constantly coddled or just positive reinforcement. When clearly 6 years we see him thrive on the adversity and it only makes the team better each time as well.

To be honest my concern is more the health ...the OL and AJ. Barkley too. A little more Tank could help everyone.

You look at a lot of quarterbacks, they’re going to sling it. They’re going to trying to throw it through the eye of the needle. Sometimes you just have to take that chance. That’s not his game. That’s why he stands back there, a lot of the time he’s patting the ball, patting the ball, and it throws the timing of the offense off. The rhythm is thrown off. They can’t get him out of it.

It’s frustrating, in a lot of ways, to the coaching staff. And to the players. Extremely frustrating to the players. Because when they look at the film, the next day or a few days later, they see what’s available out there and what should’ve happened, and it didn’t happen, that’s frustrating to them as well.

[…]

I’m just basically telling you there’s a lot of people in that organization that are frustrated with the quarterback situation right now. But the quarterback understands he has them over a barrel. This is almost Carson Wentz part two. They’re not going to eat this kind of money yet.“

That’s part of the conversation from Gunn and Joyner posted the link to the article couple days ago.

Will be interesting with all these people here looking to trade McKee... if they keep him next year...then we get closer to 2027 ...when they actually can make a move at QB.

Internally is all that matters. Right now they have a player issue with executing. Effort as well. Fans still think this is a Cadillac with a bad driver.. but reality is this isn't close to that.

IDK can you blame AJ though? I mean I did mention and forewarn that these WR's(well some) want the stats because their paychecks depend on them. No one is going to pay 10 million to a WR with 450 yards and 2 TD's(just an EXAMPLE). They get paid by production, your name doesn't matter. If you're AJ, why BUST every play for 2 targets per game? He isn't as "explosive" because he's not getting any attention. So it was nice to see he was paid some attention a little. We saw where Hurts just can't seem to let the ball go when he needs to. It's a bit alarming. Instead of playing to win Hurts is playing not to lose, and although the W counts the same he is denying his surrounding cast and asking Fangio to bail him out every game. According to Ham Hurts brought AJ here(lol). Now it's like a new toy you played with for awhile, then forgot about it in your toy box

"A.J. Brown has only hauled in three touchdowns through eight games" Everyone loves the W's,but star players want to contribute to those W's. And while every week may not be your week(depending who you face), there needs to be some consistent effort to allow him to make plays. There are zero reasons for a top WR to give 110% for stats like this one. He will go through the motions because he is paid to. If the Eagles come back and want a re structure because "well you only got 600 yards and 5 TD's last year" you can see why AJ is upset. He tried the innuendo approach a few times earlier and that had no apparent effect, so he is getting more vocal. So if they are trying to lose AJ, they are doing an excellent job of it

Fran Duffy...Eagles insider did a great job on his podcast showing all this. Explaining the difference this year vs the last 4 years.

The same concepts they have used since 2021. Yet on the videos he shows how Hurts isn't decisive and then throwing lanes disappear as he switches from one read to the next. On multiple plays.

The second thing was a deep dive on AJ Brown. His data from last 9 games of last year vs his 9 games this year. He was looking at top speed, average speed and distance ran.

Basically looking to analyze if he was just running more distance this year as a decoy or if something scheme wise could be the issue. His conclusion ( to save on the endless data he gave) was last year the data shows AJ being more explosive. Top end speed and more time running over 18.5 mph last year.

So if you combine a worse line, less threat of run and less pass protection, with your #1 WR being less explosive, causing your QB to be less decisive... it's leading to these results.

The straight up passing game is 4th worst in the league...Denver at 9-2 is one of the 3 teams below us if that means anything??

But interesting when you see the tape and the data all in one place. Plus just the mistakes at the wrong time and some fluke plays. We had drops early, a WR false start on a tush push, AJ stumbled and was called for an illegal block...the last two weeks also had the worst weather... it's been like Murphys law for this offense. As they said, the bye came at the wrong time. But definitely a great one for the defense!

Bunch going on all across the O. Can’t even possibly be the same as what was run in 2021. Didn’t run much of anything from under C in 2021. Toth forced a huge adaptation. Our backup C can’t long snap. Some how that’s actually our situation this season.

Even running the RPO isn’t crisp. Saquan never ran it before becoming an Eagles. We actually attempted running an RPO this last game and it appeared new and foreign concept. It was sloppy and bad.

You both been witnessing the same delibrate QB run plays from 2021? Barely seen it even called this season. Drastically stripped from this seasons O playcalling we all have been used to.

But yes…AJ missed entire TC. Wouldn’t have ever imagined it would have affected things as massively as it has. That connection hasn’t been there so far this season.

Some just been purely been coaching decisions based.

Like rushing game stunk early games…

But Siri stuck with the run. Really pretty much refusing to attempt throwing. Then the rushing game gets going while we have a two score lead….Siri only gets the ball to Saquan only one time the entire second half.

Then we have cold and windy back to back games against top challengers to us. That’s when Siri goes hard at forcing the passing game.

You listed all areas being lesser and lacking but: coaching situation and Hurts designed run plays.

Think it was as good of timing as possible for our bye instead. Paired that up with a mini bye from that Thur night game.

We needed that bye real bad.

Don't worry....pretend just like Reddick situation and ignore it. It works for you. Gunners isn't the only one here with this stuff. There are insiders making great points....why isn't anyone disagreeing with AJ. The feeling is he is more popular in the locker room.

A leader knows how to be part of a group..not above it. Seems like an issue a lot of them have with the QB.

And as a few point out...." the passing game looks exactly how Hurts wants it to look"

The QB is the guy who gets credited for wins regardless of how well he played or how good he looks. The other guys not so much. Reading the room might be the issue here.

Laughable simply based on how many guys could actually complain about our leader? Sure fire bad career decision to talk crap against our teams leader. Like I pointed out AJ would. But AJ actually just came out stating exact opposite backing up Hurts.

So who are "all these” complainers about our teams leader?

I can get AJ being a popular player in the locker room. But that can be a huge problem instead of positive here. Seemed like AJ been wanting to exercise his power as a leader to be very vocal about what his way is…we should do instead. But you have Siri and Patullo trying to get their way first. Then you have Hurts and his thoughts and beliefs.

Just too many chefs in the kitchen for AJ to get his way.
