So far our offense has been, to put it nicely "low key". Big game for both squads. We can't afford stupid penalties. Dullaz CAN move the ball. They have a little trouble scoring and our D gets tougher in the RZ due to proximity. Their offense can move the ball, their defense is horrible. Pickens is excellent in clutch plays, CB2 needs to be on him, Bark should be able to hit the second level some, so I see some runs for 3,3,3,3,then he will blow one out for a long run. I would like to see 3-4 of those bust outs. I would like to see Tank hammer them also. The 1/2 punch will wear their line down. The bigger runs should come later as their D gets gassed. I'm looking at a tough first 1/2,they may even be slightly ahead,but I want domination in the 2nd 1/2. I want Hurts to let the ball fly more this game. I want to see Dotson hit 3-4 times on slants. Goedert should be a popular target in the RZ. AJ and Smitty should have decent enough games we can quell the TMZ BS. This week I DO want 31 pts. If Patullo has learned anything, this is the game he proves it for me and puts up that 31. Against this defense there really is no excuse now. Let's see how he does, but this is like a do or die prove it for me personally. We can get away with the vanilla chain moving O,but there is no doubt Dak will be tossing it around. We need to do the same. Great game to call the dagger multiple times. If we win we take them out,if they win they are still alive. We know what we have to do and the players needs to execute. That has been sporadic and it's time to settle in and do your jobs. Hurts needs to be ready for blitz's and I would like to see a few more from us also. They picked up some rummy RB who I doubt makes a difference, but whatever. I'm ready to tear these guys a new one and I'm excited about it. They are gloating and we need to shut them up until next year. Lots of fans made the trip. Let's do this!!! 💪

Lol...the player is guaranteed that money... half of Milton Williams btw....

So...

He gets a new contact, that number means nothing...the new deal starts from scratch.

He gets traded... the new team has to pay that money.... Eagles would have zero cap hit.

And if they cut him... he gets a new contract from another team... any money offsets the 5th year option. He gets $6 mil from the new team... then the Eagles on the hook for the difference.

I mean... think for a aecond... which is know it's tough for you because of your " I called it agenda"

Milton Williams = your boy, Ham called it, he is just the best DT of all time...

Jordan Davis= Ham didn't like the pick, so he is worthless...

So let's say the reality is somewhere in between there. Milton Williams got $26 mil starting in 2025... a year later with inflation...Davis at $12.1 mil and you see that as a bad thing for the Eagles?

Yes.... Means nothing with a new deal..

Correct. Only means anything if the Eagles decide to not do anything.

Yes Davis is guaranteed an amount $14 million less than Milton Williams if the Eagles decide ( because they have control) not to do anything.

For me the proof lies in how Davis finishes the season. I know you are ready to throw a parade for Davis because going into this contract year situation he finally decided to get in shape. Davis has to prove he can actually do it for a full season…which he has not yet.

4th and inches and Hurts couldn’t get it done but years blame Siri…. You were just hyping up Hurts earlier in that game on how he has to get it done in short yardage yet he failed like the next 3-4 tush pushes after that TD.

Think it’s completely the right call to see how Davis finishes the year and guess what he isn’t getting a contract extension this season so he will finish the year before we decide.

Still have to acknowledge how well he has played up to this point though arguably being our best DT to this point of the season.
