Mmmmmm I think he was in the plans originally but fell out of favor once we trade for Tank…. To be fair tank has looked really good when given carries think he has easily been our best RB this season outside of Saquon when he gets blocks

Well we have tank under contract until 2027 so unless we trade him he should be here….

We have an out in Saquon contract in 2027 as well be curious to see what we opt to go when we get to that point.

We active Epps from IR and talks we could be looking at Slay reunion could sure up the secondary with guys that have played together for some years.

Well maybe not Epps he was here with Dejan/Q was he? But played with Reed and Slay(if we resign)

Slay is old and lost a step. Adding to mediocre. Let's not pretend he is the young guy at his peak. if we need him for depth ok. I suppose he could win out over the other mediocres we have

He isn’t peak but think he is still better than what we have now and has familiarity in the system and not like we have many other option this season. Be a cheap bandaid for the rest of the year until we can look and address it in the offseason

I mean slay was the starting CB on our SB squad last year that was one of if not the best secondary in the league last year only guy we would be missing is CJGJ

Slay is a bandaid no praying for a miracle here think he is better then what we have and his chemistry with the guys and knowing the D already which makes it an easy transition.

And not like the secondary has been awful(outside of when Ringo started he was awful)

D is worn out and tired of saving the offense IMO. Then you get the report your "leader" is not going to play to his potential. No reason to kill yourself to save a QUITTER

Cook what about say Becton. He really isn’t working out in LA…wasn’t working in Jersey….but Stout knew exactly how to maximize him. We miss him…while they seem ready to bench him and go in another direction.

Thanks for the intel…I really didn’t believe he’d be claimed off waivers. Considered more than one suitor was likely though…at this point in the season.

We came up short for him. Some more controllable than others on the short comings. AR and JJ are the trailblazers with the BelliCHEATING! Spags as LB coach for us took that knowledge to never lose again to the Bellicheat. Twice took him down with lesser teams..really sucks it was for the Gmen instead. But gave us the very needed blueprint for Pedey to bring home the first parade.
