As a former TE surprising even still you think the way you do. Quick hitch is a timing route. You can’t go exploring all these other options first. Its three steps back and throw.

It’s a timing route. QB isn’t/wasn’t looking around doing anything else there.

The interception play I volunteered. Now that was Hurts bad decision. Clear cut.

That’s the type situation dangerous with Hurts. Bad blocking execution on a bad play with no seperation created by targets. Danger…Hurts going to try to make a play.
