After watching the Seattle game, the morning after they win the SB, give Klint Kubiak a call, offer him our HC position. Smart, ballsy calls, creative routes.

I got the Hawks beating the Pats also. They look solid like we did in '24. Love Smith Njigba. He's only going to get better. Seems Darold has found a home after being kicked out of 5 others. Who figured Darnold and Maye would be in the SB? I didn't

Really have to wonder what is scaring off OC candidates. Is it Siri? Hurts? FO?

Siri- find this one odd just because I don’t think the FO would keep him if he was the issue getting coaches in here.

Hurts- lots of rumors regarding Hurts from his struggles with reading D, him not wanting to run complex O forcing OC to simplify things, and now that he doesn’t want to use his legs. And this doesn’t even bring up his limitations as a passer to begin with.

FO- for better or worse this is likely seen as a boom or bust job either it works we are successful and the OC gets HC offers or they are fired after the season.

Well...if the OC is supposed to get control...we pay well. High profile to get a head coaching job.

Wonder whose short comings would scare off a play caller trying to show off his scheme???

So you have no point then since Hurts has been the best QB he’s ever had.

Yikes. Too many potential OCs passing on the Eagles OC job. What the hell is going on around here?

Guess

With Kafka off the board, here’s a look at the Eagles’ remaining known options:

  • Former Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Frank Smith

  • Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard

  • Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter

  • Former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy

  • Houston Texans quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson

Plus maybe former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll.

Feeling inspired? Why yes, I am. I'm glad you asked. I would like some Cooter

Mel Kiper pairs Eagles with Clemson CB Avieon Terrell in 2026 NFL mock draft

The fit seems obvious. The Eagles are in desperate need of another reliable outside cornerback, and Terrell has the talent to be an instant starter. Kiper broke down his thought process

"The Eagles tried to fix the CB2 position opposite Quinyon Mitchell (Cooper DeJean is in the slot) with trades for Jaire Alexander and Michael Carter II, but neither move did the trick. Carter barely played down the stretch, and Alexander stepped away from football in mid-November. Terrell, though, would be a reliable answer. He broke up nine passes and forced five -- yes, five -- fumbles in 2025. He's terrific in man coverage, and coordinator Vic Fangio had his defense in man 55% of the time this season, third most in the NFL."

They're afraid that AJ will steal their wife like he did to Hurts' newlywed.

Damn Kafka was honestly my sleeper pick for the OC job thought he wasn’t flashy but a solid add for us but guess he is joining the lions.

We interviewed Sean Mannion Packers QB coach for our OC job

We are apparently about to hold a 2nd interview with Sean Mannion for our OC job…can’t say this is an inspiring hire if it happens only been a coach since 2024 and only been a QB coach for a year no play calling experience again….Does have playing experience was a backup QB in the league from 2015-2023 for what that’s worth

The HC, the QB, the FO…. High expectations for the role that will likely get you fired after a year if we struggle….. one of these or even a combination of them.

Bills hiring Joe Brady as their HC meaning Daboll is available to be an OC…. Can we convince him to take the job or will he rather go to Tennessee

Well Daboll is out he is going to Tennessee

I had him first too if he is our round 1 pick. IDK we'd better start thinking about a replacement for Lane. We keep postponing that. I also like Chris Johnson at CB later. Check him out

In my infinite wisdom(???????) I'm looking at later OT's that can sit behind Lane and Fred. Let Stoutland U take over. For me that guy is Austin Barber the OT from FL. He can sit behind those guys OR play RG while he learns, so I put him in at pick 98. If we pick and OT FIRST we probably can't get Proctor, But Lomu, although for me he could also be the RG. But if your going to do THAT,just take the G from PSU Ioane or something, Not sure about spending a round 1 on a G though

I’d be shocked honestly if we don’t add an OL and DL by the end of the 3rd round this year.

Fred Johnson likely will be gone he wants to opportunity to start and that isn’t likely to happen here unless he is willing to compete at G but rather just get Becton back for that he is younger we know he can play G at a high level and honestly might come cheaper.

DL/edge is hard one to judge lot will depend on Phillips and Graham but if neither return we are really thin at edge again seem like the year we look to add a high pick into the rotation
