Since we are in re-tool mode perhaps that 1,3 would work for us. Now that they released Diggs I'm not sure why they want AJ? I would take the deal and sign Diggs and still draft my last mock. After DIggs pick up Mayer from LA and we'd be in pretty nice shape on receivers. Having Diggs and Mayer with 2 round 1 picks a 2 and 2 3's sounds very enticing. That's a possible 5 new impact players along with Mayer and Diggs

We are getting calls about Jalen Carter no way we trade him right? 27m is a lot of money for his 5th year deal and he probably going to be the highest paid DT on his new deal but he also when healthy one of the better DT as well.

Well at least Crosby isn't going to the Cowpies

Quentin Johnston is rumored to be in trade talks for the Chargers.

Johnston 1st and a 2nd(or 3rd) for AJ might be enough since they are rumored to be interested in AJ.

Not sure the Pats could put together a better package.

Johnston still young just had his best season could be a good #2 and we get the extra draft picks

Reports saying we are trying to resign Phillips to an extension saying it will be around 20m a year( cap hit won’t be that high).

Also looked into Greenard Viking edge guessing as a possible backup option.

Lastly reports really starting to ramp up on us possibly shopping Jalen Carter. At the very least teams are contacting us asking about him.

Can’t image we trade Carter but if we did does free up the opportunity to pay Ojomo who would be significantly cheaper.

Still have to think about Q and Coop extensions to come as well next offseason

Scarier part is Davis was this dominant and Carter wasn’t nearly the same caliber player because of the shoulder injuries. If we get 2025 Davis and 2024 Carter good luck to OLs next season.

And that not even adding Ojomo, Nolan, Hunt, and possibly Phillips

Raiders going big getting a C 81m for Linderbaum good signing for them they need to bolster that OL for Mendonza and Jeanty.

I’d be looking for OL at 14 for them as well.

Yea 4 years 120m is steep for Phillips especially since we still have to pay Carter just paid Davis and Q and Coop in the wings next season I think.

But edge is a concern again for us

Fairly good and deep edge class even into round 4. I assume we can find a cheaper option vet too

Was rumors we had interest in Vikings edge Greenard as well…. Definitely like to see us add another young edge but like to see a vet added to the rotation as well even if it’s just BG coming back
