I don’t make the decisions for the Chargers just stating they are one of the teams mentioned in the mix for AJ.

And reports already said we turned down a 1st and 3rd from the patriots.

So I just tossed out a hypothetical for the Chargers package that would land them AJ.

Save the day the Ravens are no longer in the mix for AJ now as well since they just gave up two 1st rounders for Maxx.

So now the only two rumored teams are Chargers and NE

So Raiders picks 1 and 14,that should help them alot. They have a long way to go. Still no significant moves by Howie. I would still go after Mayer at TE

No way I trade AJ Brown….unless some team with HIGH picks gives me TWO #1s. Thats the ONLY thing i would even consider. You don’t replace a guy like Brown.

Sounds like Howie is doing everything he can to make sure AJ doesn’t get traded while also still being able to say hey I tried to trade you nobody paid the price tag for you.

1st and 3rd rounder from NE wasn’t good enough kind of tells how much Howie values AJ and the type of haul it will take to trade him away

Rashan Gary had his account hacked and they said he was being released. He said his goodbyes before the hack was discovered. Then he deleted his goodbye statement. However GB still hasn't said if he IS being released or traded. He can play many positions well. If he came at a decent price we could add him as a DE,DL,OLB. he can play all 3. Stats look fine. With people on our staff from GB, I'm sure they will let Howie know(if he doesn't already). IMO he would be a good rotational piece to have.

We really haven't hear much from AJ. He seems fine either way. What we need to know is his attitude about Hurts. If he's going to be a locker room problem, maybe it's best to get what you can for his talents. We can't afford to have him lose concentration and drop balls. If this is Hurts last year I'm ok bringing in rookie talent. I'm ok either way. With the huge demand by Howie for him Howie is letting him know we value him. if he stays It's on Hurts ,but AJ has to try too

IMO, let Goedert go. Add Mayer(LV) for a cheaper cost. Draft Stower in round 2 even if you have to move up. Now TE is fixed for awhile(in theory). If AJ goes away, we would have 2 round 1 picks. I would use those on an OT and WR1 with Stower in round 2. Add another slot guy in a later round like Branch or Burks no matter what happens with AJ. That would help the WR room. Denzel Boston would be a great pick if AJ leaves. I like the kid from N Dak state also as an outside possession guy in a later round. This draft is going to be super fun to watch

Raiders can get Mendonza and an OL( Ioano or Fano) help protect him and get the ground game going with Jeanty.

AJ still hasn’t been traded to the Pats yet? Geez….been going on so so so long. Could have easily gave happened a year ago today. Eventually….
