March 7Mar 7 Author I talked about Mayer last year. I will talk about him again this year. Doesn't stop me from drafting Stower also. Be a great 1/2 TE set. Add some promising UDFA's and we're good to go at TE

Maybe they have cap space I didn't checkI don’t make the decisions for the Chargers just stating they are one of the teams mentioned in the mix for AJ.And reports already said we turned down a 1st and 3rd from the patriots. So I just tossed out a hypothetical for the Chargers package that would land them AJ.
March 7Mar 7 Save the day the Ravens are no longer in the mix for AJ now as well since they just gave up two 1st rounders for Maxx.So now the only two rumored teams are Chargers and NE
March 7Mar 7 Author So Raiders picks 1 and 14,that should help them alot. They have a long way to go. Still no significant moves by Howie. I would still go after Mayer at TE
March 7Mar 7 Author Down to 2804 pages now. Deleted my posts from the first 25 pages. I will do a little every time I get on here. If we all did this we could cut the pages down alot. No one cares what i said in 2024
March 7Mar 7 Author https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Bryce-Lance-WR-NorthDakotaState Like this kids potential. Hard to know what you're getting, but his upside COULD be tremendous. I could see taking a chance on him in round 4. Still like Burks or Branch for our slot along with Darius Cooper. This is really going to be a fun draft
March 7Mar 7 Why, why, why trade AJ Brown? Do the Eagles want to see how average Hurts is WITHOUT Brown? Might as well get two stellar BLOCKING TEs and run on every down.No way I trade AJ Brown….unless some team with HIGH picks gives me TWO #1s. Thats the ONLY thing i would even consider. You don’t replace a guy like Brown.

March 7Mar 7 Author Rashan Gary had his account hacked and they said he was being released. He said his goodbyes before the hack was discovered. Then he deleted his goodbye statement. However GB still hasn't said if he IS being released or traded. He can play many positions well. If he came at a decent price we could add him as a DE,DL,OLB. he can play all 3. Stats look fine. With people on our staff from GB, I'm sure they will let Howie know(if he doesn't already). IMO he would be a good rotational piece to have.

You don’t replace a guy like Brown. We really haven't hear much from AJ. He seems fine either way. What we need to know is his attitude about Hurts. If he's going to be a locker room problem, maybe it's best to get what you can for his talents. We can't afford to have him lose concentration and drop balls. If this is Hurts last year I'm ok bringing in rookie talent. I'm ok either way. With the huge demand by Howie for him Howie is letting him know we value him. if he stays It's on Hurts ,but AJ has to try too
March 7Mar 7 Author IMO, let Goedert go. Add Mayer(LV) for a cheaper cost. Draft Stower in round 2 even if you have to move up. Now TE is fixed for awhile(in theory). If AJ goes away, we would have 2 round 1 picks. I would use those on an OT and WR1 with Stower in round 2. Add another slot guy in a later round like Branch or Burks no matter what happens with AJ. That would help the WR room. Denzel Boston would be a great pick if AJ leaves. I like the kid from N Dak state also as an outside possession guy in a later round. This draft is going to be super fun to watch
March 7Mar 7 Ravens had the 14th pick…. Thats way higher than I thought lol.Raiders can get Mendonza and an OL( Ioano or Fano) help protect him and get the ground game going with Jeanty.
March 7Mar 7 AJ still hasn’t been traded to the Pats yet? Geez….been going on so so so long. Could have easily gave happened a year ago today. Eventually….

He’s capable as a move blocker but shines when rolling downhill as a bona-fide people mover with bulldozing power. However, slants and quick first steps beat him to the spot in the run game. When set and centered, Proctor is a roadblock to speed-to-power charges. He has a stout anchor and strong hands to stall the rush in its track. He struggles to mirror athletes in space and lacks the range to protect deeper pocket drops against speed. Inconsistency in pass protection hasn’t helped his draft standing, but he still has the potential to become a good right tackle or very good guard." They seem to think he would be fine at RTIsn’t he a top ten pick?
