If I’m LV I’m taking Mendoza for sure but I wouldn’t spend the picks or cap space on AJ they need way too much…. My top priority in FA if I’m Vegas is the OL need to protect Mendoza and allow Jeanty to be able to run the ball.

I’d look to go with a draft pick at WR and whoever they got on roster for next season I know they have couple guys they drafted last season Bach and Tucker. with the primary target being a healthy Brock Bowers.

They can't have high picks for all they need. AJ gives Mendoza an experienced WR while they rebuild. But you could be right, they could go WR with pick 36,but will be a rook with a rook QB and no picks for any significant O line. Besides they are the only team just one I thought would work with us

There was never an actual game in the Pro Bowl. That junk was completely unwatchable

But Hurts was going to "crush it" according to you. TOO FUNNY

WR just wouldn’t be my top priority if I was Vegas I’m spending big money in FA to protect my QB and maybe use high draft pick on a OL.

Won’t matter who is on the outside throw the ball to if Mendoza doesn’t have time to throw the ball plus QB best friend is a strong ground game(which they can’t have unless they fix the OL) and a TE which they have in Bowers.

Vegas just not ready to compete and shouldn’t be giving up valuable draft picks on top of the huge contract AJ has. More likely that a contending team tries for AJ Baltimore makes a ton of sense and Henry and already trying to recruit him

Vegas also just drafted 2 WRs Bach in the 2nd round and Thornton Jr in the 4th round didn’t do much last year but the entire LV team was terrible.

If they wanted to add a proven guy spending on Pickens makes more sense for them younger probably cost around the same as AJ and wouldn’t cost them draft picks

Im not so sure that they don't believe in some of the oline boys we drafted last year. Cameron Williams did a good job week 18. 69.0 rating 69.8 in passing game 65.6 in running game.

It’s possible Stout is about as good as it gets in developing OL players

Keep asking you what more you were looking to accomplish since Hurts had us lined right up for the two seed.

Well Jeff Stoutland is stepping down as our OL coach that is a massive L for the season

Saying the FO is trying to keep Stoutland in some capacity but won’t be as the OL coach and not sure how long that will last sure 31 other teams would love to snag Stoutland as the OL coach if he wants to stay in the NFL or plenty in the college ranks if he opts to return to college

Greg Austin is the asst. OL coach has worked under Stoutland back in 2013-2015 before taking some college OL coaching jobs then spent a few seasons as an asst. OL coach with the Jags before returning as our Asst. OL coach last season.

That the in house candidate to replace Stoutland image looking at someone on the Rams/SF/GB coaching staff makes a ton of sense since they coach the OL style that would fit with Mannion who comes from that Mcvay/Shannhan system

So now we have to replace OL coach to go along with us likely replacing the QB coach interviewed Greg Olson(LV interim HC) and Connor Senger AZ pass game specialist for the role apparently

And I have answered you many times, a QB who is committed to playing his position not selling out for self preservation. Can you not read? Besides the drops, Hurts did nothing special vs the 9ers. Still fell down like a little girl when the team needed him to step UP and run the ball, not step back and whine. Just a horrible teammate and I hate selfish turncoats who put self before team. I will be happy to see this traitor leave. Unfortunately we are stuck with his mediocrity for now. If I told my HS coach "I don't really feel like blocking" I would have been off the team in a heartbeat. Hurts was lucky the TEAM carried him to the 3 seed. Since Hurts didn't want to get a boo boo, there was zero reason to risk everyone else to the same injury risks Hurts avoided by going for the 2 seed

Stoutland's "demotion" I figured was a slap in the face and I still don't understand that move, Sad to see him go. After 13 years you would think we would treat him better than that

I can live with your first 2. IMO Blake Miller will be long gone by 68, I have Muhammad at 68. Personal opinion, I don't like any player from USC, they always seem overhyped and underperform. I'm ok with 2 TE's but would rather move up for Royer. But our mocks are both workable. Combine will re shuffle some. I have WR alot later picking up the OT from Az St in round 2. IDK what's going to happen with F Johnson, but we agree it's time to get Lanes replacement in. My other mock I have Proctor at 1,but again we both agree the right side of the line should be high priority so we think alike

All these coaching reshuffles are a little alarming. Busts up the continuity we had on the SB staff. Oh well, onward we go

As Joe pointed out, now we get to see another fail at OC as he won't be able to teach Hurts a thing. Mannion will have to revert to college boy ball. I wish him well, but I think he will get frustrated too as I assume Hurts isn't going to run for the remainder of his contract. Why should he? He already got paid and got his trophy. He's not hungry anymore

Holy crap…Stout is out!

It’s all about developing our OC to take over as our HC with Hurts and the new O staff

Stoutland now gone. Something smells here guys. Not sure about this coaching situation.

How do you "develop" an OC with a CEO HC? Who is going to develop him?
