April 25, 20241 yr Did you watch the clip I posted from the Texans playoff victory? Coaching matters. DeMeco told his LB exactly what to do to make that game sealing interception. It was a thing of beauty. Great coaching!
April 25, 20241 yr Leap from DeMeco telling his LB exactly what to do to: you are so pissed at Hurts for not overcoming his bad coaching. Our D not overcoming their bad coaching. No Mas crying over Hurts not changing everything on his own carrying us to the promised land. What a huge Grand Canyon sized gap!
April 25, 20241 yr AR future Hall of Fame coach …best in the game today labeled The Bronze Standard by you….probably explains things. But only a tiny bit. You could bash AR yet place everything on Hurts?
April 25, 20241 yr Mahomes probably going down as the best QB ever…at least be in the conversation. Does anybody believe it’s because of his superior mental acumen? His knowledge of adjustments? His overcoming bad coaching and playcalling? He’s had AR. Massive advantage he has. He is mobile and a fantastic arm..can throw from crazy angles. But without the coaching answers he wouldn’t sniff the conversation of greatest. Great gameplans, playcalling, adjustment answers, QBing coaching….he’s benefitted from having all this.

You admitted Hurts changed the play vs Seattle where he went deep to AJ for the interception on the final play. That means Hurts knows he can audible. That means he knows he could call a hot route or adjust his protection when it's that obvious 6 on 5 situation. It's not coaching... it's basic football. He needs to improve on his mental game. Facts....no matter how you want to spin it.

No it isn’t lol Fangio isn’t likely to stay just like Jim Schwartz didn’t stay after Doug got canned. Reality if we are that bad this year means our O likely to be mid and we are going to have a bad D

In fact, that exact trade is what I predicted in my final mock draft I posted on Tuesday. But I have them taking Arnold instead of Fuaga. I'm not sure how I'd feel if they moved up to 12 and took Fuaga. He's one of those types that seem to project better at G "but can play tackle in a pinch". That said, I haven't researched him much. If they trade up to 12 for him, it better be because he WILL be the future RT. Trading up to 12 for a lifetime G would be a terrible waste of resources. Arnold or Mitchell would be a much better use of those resources.
April 25, 20241 yr Although I think we move up, have to wonder who on our wish lists would still be available at 22, saving those picks for later, maybe even moving up from the 2nd rd

April 25, 20241 yr I heard possibility of 3 team trade... Denver, New England and the Eagles. We get Surtain, Denver gets pick 3...New England gets a couple 1st round picks plus more.

I hear ya, but we didn't trade up for Dickerson...and he was in the 2nd round. Good Guards, in general, can be found in any round. To give up a 2nd to move up and take a Guard would be a really bad use of resources. An OT, sure. But not OG.

That was one play that Hurts and AJ went off script out of pure frustration with the playcalling. Things boiled to a head at that point where they both just tried to save us with Hero Ball.

I would rather trade up for the stud G.

April 25, 20241 yr The HC and OC are paid and in charge. They should have earned that right to playcall and have the QB as an extension of themselves running their O.
April 25, 20241 yr Frankly that play between Hurts and AJ ended our game. Just needed a first down there. Needed to live to fight another play.
