Well once Jalen Carter gets his extension the core of the DL will be in place with him and Davis. Ojomo will be gone after next season so need to have the next man up ready to go be nice to see Ty Robinson or Young take on some meaningful reps in the rotation this season.

Assuming we don’t really sign anyone in FA Howie just going to take the comp picks for 2027.

Sitting at what like a projected 3rd, 5th and two 6th right now for 2027.

Depending how this season plays out could end up with a huge 2027 draft haul.

AJ gets traded after June 1st adding to the picks then add in possibility of trading Hurts at the end of 26 season that could add even more.

2027 could end up being a massive shift for this team similar to the start of the Hurts run after we added the extra picks from Wentz.

Apparently we talked to the Steelers about LB Queen probably just Howie doing his due diligence. Can’t image we would actually trade for him though.

Dang Newsome going to the Gmen

Who made him toxic?????

Himself? He got paid…then Rosie threw more money at him…just feeding his ego reasons. Made him a champion. That didn’t work for him. Means that guy isn’t an Eagles. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Where is the link to AJ saying he didn't want to be an Eagle??? You must have it

Now you are going to act like you are blind as well….cant help you if you play all the versions of fool.

Why wouldn't they since Howie was talking to other teams(you know where we all got the 2 round 1+ requirements from). Like if your boss told you you were being let go in 2 weeks and you went on interviews after work? Or would you wait to hold the pink slip in your hand? Ridiculous. Browns agent is taking care of his client??? OMG!!!!!! WOW!!!! SHOCKING!!!!

AJ has a drawn up wish list of teams he wants to be traded to. How blind can you get? In what world does that happen when the guy hasn’t been forcing a trade? Wake up!

What I'm saying is yesterday I made a post with thr discussion on tge local radio show and GB replied.... where is mentioned the whole issue with Howie looking at any possible transaction being post June and how that would be an obstacle.

Which I’m just adding all together for all those can’t see the billion different pieces pointing out what they want to remain blind to. The GM doesn’t "get creative” …unless he really needs to unload that player. Simple..basic…obvious stuff…for me at least.

Because Davis didnt need NFL training and coaching development? Not every player puts it all together right away even 1st round picks.

Look at BG was labeled a bust for like half his career. Sam Darnold was a bust until recently.

Davis just was lazy fat and didn’t want to work out…not until it came time to get paid. First round from large school…or later round from small school. Milton clearly had much more work needed to put in to get there. He did it. David just finally worked out last offseason. We aren’t discussing the same thing…even though you seem to believe you can spin LAZY into development.

What are you calling the Dline we have in place?

lol you just make up narratives in your head and stick with them Milton Williams had half a sack 2023 that same year Davis had 2.5 sacks.

Mind you Davis has consistently improved every year he was playing for us was even flashing more in 2024 before putting it all together last season.

The start of the Hurts run was an impossible situation with a low talent level team, green HC and completely capped out. …couldn’t add squat.

And what all did we add because of the Wentz trade that built the roster that hard carried Hurts to a SB

Just a other stupid and terrible take by ham

The DL of Carter/Davis/Ojomo edges of Hunt/Nolan….. yea I’d say the core of that unit is Davis and Carter hence the core of the DL will be in place once Carter gets extended.

Hunt could become that big time edge player for us if he keeps trending upward really underrated season last year 6.5 sacks 2FF 3 ints

  • He played a career-high 686 defensive snaps while starting all 17 regular-season games.

  • No NFL defensive tackle had more run stops than Davis' 34.

  • He finished second among all NFL interior defensive linemen in tackles (72) and third in passes defensed (6).

  • He set new personal benchmarks in QB pressures (22), tackles for loss (9), and sacks (4.5).

  • He became the first player in Eagles history to win both NFC Defensive Player of the Week and NFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors in the same season.

  • His blocked field goal attempt that was returned for a touchdown to seal the win over the Rams was the Eagles' play of the year.

This isn’t a stats of a guy that is lazy and just decided to work to get paid Davis has consistently shown the flashes throughout his career with us and finally put it all together last season well deserved paid day. Way better then anything Milton did for us his entire time as an Eagle

Doubs to the patriots for 70m…. Feeling like we are more likely to keep AJ Brown

Hunh???? The GM doesn't want the huge dead cap hit for 2026. That's smart business. What are you blind to???

The DL

Slay was a small contract?

It's Howie season..but also Ham season

You would think it would certainly lessen the chance of New England looking to pay AJ. Who else is on Ham's...Oops I mean AJ's list?

Of course...we know the cap situation so if a trade were to occur, most likely after June and any team could see what they were able to get in the draft.

Who knows. I still feel like they want to see the new offense and aren't convinced of the QB. And it's obviously the QB that is AJ's issue.

So maybe AJ stays and Hurts leaves after this year?
