February 8, 20241 yr Everybody heard how Siri openly was saying coordinators were going to run things now. So not sure exactly how much power he could have been looking for more than that as an OC?

If anyone objects, F it; we'll replace you.

February 8, 20241 yr Thought of it as a statement to give full credit and respect to any potential coordinator candidates. Not some Bieniemy working as an OC under AR this thing. Ownership of their side of the ball job. Good for working towards promotions to get their own teams if their guys do very well.
February 8, 20241 yr Gotta think there are plenty of coaches out there with all kinds of experience. Many quality options don’t see themselves as less deserving than Siri of having their own team. A quality experienced guy will work for long tenured very top coaches. Maybe taking a lesser job under them than they feel they deserve.

February 9, 20241 yr TOTAL BS! Eagles legend Eric Allen is snubbed from yet another Pro Football Hall of Fame class https://insidetheiggles.com/posts/eagles-legend-eric-allen-snubbed-from-another-pro-football-hall-of-fame-class
February 9, 20241 yr Good news here. I couldn't see any reason why Stout wouldn't be returning. LMAO it's absurd to think of him getting the boot. https://www.nbcsportsphiladelphia.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/jeff-stoutland-offensive-line-coach-video-hints-at-staying-with-eagles-2024/563314/
February 9, 20241 yr Tracy Rocker firing was the surprise. Were on pace and almost set the sack record the year before. I guess they didn’t think he’s was the major factor in having guys like Fletch, Hargrave and Reddick.

Hurts will need to play under center more, which is something he doesn't seem to like much. Not the plain called QB runs(which failed mostly) but using Hurts running ability to scramble away which he is much better at(aka faking the handoffs). Now the question is,will Hurts run or fall down like the little girl he did this year? Under center Hurts will need to drastically improve his field of vision speed. This was an issue of regression this year. So we will find out now if Hurts has the tangibles to be a real NFL QB or if the one trick pony play persists. he will have to learn or there will be serious issues. Moore will find the best way to use him,but it's up to Hurts to progress and perform which fell off this past season vs better teams. TIme to put the college offense to bed and play big boy ball. My main fear is Hurts arm strength is nowhere near Herberts or Daks and Moore loves his pass plays. I suppose he can cut the yardage back needed to throw with Hurts due to that limitation(aka make the routes shorter so Hurts can hit them). I also hope Moore uses Goedert correctly now. He can be a terrific weapon, but not running 1 yard sideline routes where he gets trapped by the sideline and the LB's. He needs to go downfield

So in reality actually what our franchise has looked for and valued the most in coaching is the coordinators. Reich and Steichen type coordinators our organization can thrive.
February 9, 20241 yr Then Oline coach. Dline coach. Then I think you finally get to the priority of hierarchy for HC.
February 9, 20241 yr HC needs to manage the media well. He needs to maintain a squeaky clean image. He sells the good or bad concerning the organization to any and everyone.

February 9, 20241 yr Think possibly the HC is the main channel for Rosie to bridge his top notch advanced analytic department. Convert the math world and translate it into the football world. Make the real timing decisions on those few critical calls each game. Be the very conscience of the game situational prep and readiness. Up a score driving to score don’t go out of bounds. Or down two scores in the second half maybe speeding things up and recognizing to get out of bounds. Whether with 40 seconds left on D whether to start calling timeouts to expect getting the ball back and trying to make something happen still. Just really easy to notice that evolution that has occurred in my years of football. All these players are so much more aware and ready for all these game situations and clock management. Seemed like teams used to freak out and scramble just to run a hurry up O at the end of games when needed in the eighties. The game I attended with Elway going 98 yards on the Browns with a minute left or whatever…college players even very well schooled and prepared to get a field goal drive in under a minute…all the time now. Niners leave Mahomes and AR 35 seconds just needing a field goal at the end? They are in trouble. Just like I’m sure we all felt with getting a stop by our D at the end…Hurts was going to take us the distance with a minute and change to work with. Felt it…with a certainty. Wasn’t a moment before they called the pass interference on Bradberry I thought we were sunk.
February 9, 20241 yr Curious since we will be running Moores offense would we look at a player like Zeke? Obviously he isn’t the below runner he was in Dallas but in a rotation with say a rookie RB… Would definitely be a far cheaper option then my dream signing of Barkley or even resigning swift

You bring in Sean Payton or Bill Bellicheck…..Harbaugh of HC near top priority. If what can drive you is strong HC.We have things very much set up to where our FO is very involved. All departments check in with them. So need actual football guys to run things at the coordinator levels.

That would be a move that’s totally against the grain of what Rosie believes in. A RB clearly on the downside of his career. You can’t think RB are the lowest position of career length and actually then after so many years make a move like for Zeke. Looking for a few last miles from a RB just because he knows the system.
