See if Russell Wilson will come over and be a backup. League minimum pay. If Hurts continues to regress, the Eagles have a proven starter on the cheap. Hey, a guy can dream. Haha.

It was sarcasm,but really, he was TERRIFIC before he was drafted. he could never make the NFL transition,so who knows what he is up to right now. He(JM) would be cheap,right up Howies alley LOL 

 

 

I’m taking one of these two guys: Graham Barton…or …Jackson Powers Johnson.

I really like plenty ofother prospects. But have to try to be semi reasonable on players that I’d expect could fall to 22.

That CB from Toledo I’d snap up in a heart beat. But I don’t see him lasting on the board that long.

The O shouldn't have to be changed much either if Manziel had to go in for relief. 

They’re still talking about tweaking the KO.

Being talked about as a third round prospect right now

Payton Wilson is the main guy sticking out to me at LB on this class.

NC St kid is a solid tackler. Interested to see how his measurables turn out here at the combine.

Our LB situation seems very clear right now going into 2024. Cunningham is our proven solid decent vet. He’s played under our LB coach already. Have the young draft investment in Dean. Even through the end last season Rosie stuck by his decisions believing in and turning things over to Dean.

So with our exact current LB room situation? Think it spells a need for a proven leader vet to come take over the room. Patrick Queen I have been very known to champion here all along. Wanted him in the draft for us. But he’s played his way into that elite level of pay at this point. Hard to really champion many players being the fantastic call at those prices. Clearly not much on the upside of things there. Buying a talented playmaker to help transform our D wouldn’t be a bad investment. 

I just usually try and believe in there most times being other options to turn towards instead. Basically identifying the up and coming player that’s next. Bringing in the Hassan Reddick type FA option being fairly ideal. Don’t like paying that top dollar much.

All things put together with our LB room situation keeps landing me on the same answer player. Azeez.
