Lurie does a lot for the league... gave up a home game to go to Brazil.... lots of rules committee and charity stuff. The way the team handled the BS from the Superbowl with the field and the call at the end of the game .... you think a coach talking to fans is something the league cares about? Big picture my man... big picture.
October 19, 20242 yr Omg.... The Eagles coach was yelling at Tony from South Philly after the game.... OMG ... we can't have that in the league. Meanwhile look at arrests from around the league compared to our team. Who cares....Tony's feelings are hurt... once he recovered from his hangover, he cried all night long... lol. Anyone here ever been to an Eagles home game???? Just curious it you are familiar with the type of fans that are down there. 2008 was the last time I subjected myself to that crap... since then it's away games for me if I decide to go in person. But OMG...the league needs to protect drunk Tony! Lol.

Big picture my man... big picture. Absolutely the league should care. Not as much as Lurie though. This is the supposed ‘grown up top man’ for Eagles football. But the main thing is just how much it shows he’s not fit for any HC job. At any level. He’s struggling doing is job on the field. Then an act like this….again….clearly shows how influenced he is by every distraction. You need to have a level head to make correct smart decisions on the fly. No room for emotion…caring about Tony in the stands dogging his performance. Pathetic! NFL when it counts is the biggest stakes highest pressure environment. Sure the general noise affects you….but he clearly gets rattled and can’t handle any person against him. At the gas station he barks back at Giants fans. Chiefs stadium he yells at the fans. Now Lurie put this lame duck HC in to buy one freaking year to make the correct hire this much better HC hiring cycle….this is what the guy is up to…yelling at our own fans. Can’t see how Lurie could possibly not have been scalding red hot over this. Not the rookie immature LB…no the freakin HC he let stick around for an extra year…out of convenience.

Doesn’t quite seem accurate to me really. But can clearly remember the first game his two interceptions were in the middle. But when you think about our O : the D is worried about the run, worried about AJ and Smitty. So obviously if you spread those three out it creates the most space to operate for all. Kind of like when all we had was Westy and DJax. So AR put both in the backfield and had them go opposite ways. Some things just make obvious sense. Also depends on what D we’ve been facing. Clearly you want to make it tough for the S to get involved. Middle of the field is where all the help is to cover our WR. But all in all…I believe in well balanced attack all around.

I don’t care too much where success happens. If AJ is burning a guy with a double move down the sideline all day….i’ll take 80 percent throwing deep left.

I didn’t say we didn’t throw over the middle your pin pointing singular plays lol 8% of our O goes over the middle means 92% is outside the sticks. Not hard concept to understand we are neglecting a massive section of the field…. Again if your a DC your scouting the Eagles and your seeing that 92% of the time we only throw outside the numbers how are you game planning to defend us?
October 19, 20242 yr If I’m a DC seeing a team that doesn’t use the middle of the field I’m not focusing my coverage on it until you show me you can and will beat me utilizing it consistently…. Same why I play basketball if you won’t and can’t shoot threes guess what I’m not doing guarding out outside the 3 point line I’m going to dare you to shoot every time until you start hitting them

Turnovers aren’t all the same. So generic stats blaming the QB just isn’t educated e I forgot I am the inept hater fan
October 19, 20242 yr Am I the only one that looks at this and says hmmmm we aren’t using such a massive part of the field this has to make things easier on the defense. Hell I’d even think as an OC you would use this to our advantage team don’t expect us to throw over the middle so come with plays designed to hurt them over it.

He didn't learn how to throw when he was 6? A coach can increase arm strength? A coach can increase accuracy and reduce turnovers? No,all those things require work by the individual. Drill, baby, drill. Coaches can teach various techniques, like footwork, altering arm motions etc,but they can't make decisions for them on the field or teach them how to be smart. Hurts is very athletic, his mental game is not up to par and no coach can infuse intelligence into anyone. Hurts is a gifted runner(and where he put his work in) but it seems he has reached his pinnacle as far as playing smart. He can audible plays when he sees a pass rush coming, yet be takes the sacks anyway, even though he could escape with his legs. There is some kind of mental block he isn't getting through and to be MVP caliber he needs overcome that

So you can’t leave the middle undermanned. So if you’re doubling AJ(wise move but still not shutting him down) then that pulls two defenders all the way out. You going to keep a S high over Smitty too? That’s four defenders committing to the sidelines….gotta have two LB against the run. But you need to blitz Hurts. I’ve most of my life seen lesser Os to try and defend.
October 19, 20242 yr I see it as Siri bonehead cost us starting 3-0. Worse yet….our identity: killing the clock at the end of the game to victory. That’s a very powerful weapon. Teams would be forced to make those tough decisions anywhere under 6 minutes to go in the game. With that identity any opponent would have to realize the situation is they have to be up at least three points by the six minutes to go mark in the game. To the level of having to risk going for it on 4th and most anything less than ten…even on their own side of the field. This effect puts pressure on any opponent if they are trailing going into the fourth quarter even.

That leaves lot of open space over the middle to attack should be Massive holes to attack over the middle we don’t use… Literally the worst take I’ve ever heard on why we don’t utilize a major part of the field
