Many soccer teams are named "something FC". FC stands for football club. 

In soccer it would be completely normal for them to be known as Washington FC.

Washington may start a trend in the NFL for other teams to be named that way in the future. 

They don't really need to change.

If LJ Smith doesn't drop a wide open pass on 3rd and short late 4th to seal it, we win that game. 

I was there , it was insane. By halftime we were laughing as all the Giant fans were walking out. Turned out the joke was on us. I also got a rip in my FBI shirt(Female Body Inspector). It was just a bad day all around 😞

I played with LJ at Rutgers for a few years. He was ok, but was baffled the Eagles drafted him. His stats were ok, not great and on top of that, we sucked big time. Head scratchier

For what it's worth, I think LJ Smith was a better player than he's generally given credit for. He played well enough to get a pretty good contract from the Ravens, a team with a reputation for sound player evaluations. Sure, Witten would have been a better pick. That's obvious. But he was far from a bust as a player.
