Bradham was good. His coverage skills alone made him worth his contract

You have to wonder how patient the Eagles are going to be with JJAW.  If this injury lingers can they afford to keep him if the others are out there performing?  I've stated my case for Ward and feel he is the slot WR.  Reagor and DJack on the outside with the 2 other rookie burners backing up.  Burnett and Davis showed speed and hands last year, enough to intrigue me and Killens blazing speed coudl make him a surprise 6th WR.  The wildcard is Alshon who apparently looks like he will be on the team for the whole year.  I honestly just don't see room for JJAW, especially if he is hurt and doesn't overwhelm anyone.

yeah he was a decent backer but the team has ignored the need for corners and backers that would put this defensive unit in the top 5. they sign a good corner while losing a safety so i'm hoping the new safety additions help along with the young backers , not sold on gerry.

He was good and then he somehow lost his speed. Could have timed him with a sundial last year.

He was the best LB on the team all four years.

He also was the only one to really have that nasty LB I want to hurt you on every play attitude.

If he was the best last year then he was the tallest midget

Have the zoom virtual training camp today at noon. Should be fun. Supposedly a pop in by at least 1 player and 1 Alumni. I guess this takes over for the old training camp invite in person. I miss those. Good food, fun to watch, and player autographs.

I bet there were at least 2 WRs on the roster he’d have beaten in a foot race.

True enough.

Dude is hot garbage. Successful receivers in this league who have been big and slower than average have been successful because of good route running, good hands and superior body positioning, JJAW has none of that. I wish he would've been good instead of a waste of a pick but I have zero hope or expectations for him.

The phrase "realistic shot" at being ready puts a lot of doubt in my mind that they will be ready.

See Nelson Dropsgalor for an example.

I sincerely doubt any of the bottom 3 in bold are above JJAW on the depth chart in the coaches' minds.  He would fulfill the role that Jeffery had of bigger WR with some catch radius -- at least that's presumably why he was drafted in the 2nd round.  As @Mike030270 said, they showed patience with Agholor (IMO far too much).

In the end, if he can't beat out Hightower and Watkins in camp I don't think anyone will be heartbroken.  It's certainly not unprecedented for a 2nd round pick in his 2nd training camp to be a roster cut.

I agree. Bad as he was last year, I can't see him being a competent receiver until his fourth season, which is too long to wait. I see an injury settlement in his future, his near future.

Which was a mistake and everyone knows it.

Yup. For him to be on the roster in 2021, he had to make a leap this year.

The only plus with JJAW is that he's such a whiff that we won't be stuck with him for 4 years. Some bad players get chance after chance. JJAW won't.

Always liked Conner.  Dude loves Philadelphia.

Looks like that video of Andy's punt/pass/kick competition as a kid

I obviously want all Eagles players to do well. But I would get some especially serious satisfaction to see Arcega-Whiteside emerge as a real talent. The bashing he has received has been over-the-top.

It was and it wasn't. Who takes Agholor's place during the super bowl run? I suggest that that one year and the contributions he made were worth the wait. That said I see no way in hell that JJAW comes anywhere near to that.
