I sincerely doubt any of the bottom 3 in bold are above JJAW on the depth chart in the coaches' minds.  He would fulfill the role that Jeffery had of bigger WR with some catch radius -- at least that's presumably why he was drafted in the 2nd round.  As @Mike030270 said, they showed patience with Agholor (IMO far too much).

In the end, if he can't beat out Hightower and Watkins in camp I don't think anyone will be heartbroken.  It's certainly not unprecedented for a 2nd round pick in his 2nd training camp to be a roster cut.

Yeah, they were patient with Nelson but that got them 1 solid season out of 5.  I would hope the lesson learned is if a guy doesn't have it, he doesn't have it.  Nelson is one of the strangest cases around however.  Without him they don't win SB52.  I think he will get a lifetime pass because of one outlier season.

Everyone can use a good lube job now and then

He was a mental midget. He had all the tools to be a decent receiver as he showed flashes but sadly a headcase. Agreed on his help on SB 52 I will be forever thankful to him for that

I obviously want all Eagles players to do well. But I would get some especially serious satisfaction to see Arcega-Whiteside emerge as a real talent. The bashing he has received has been over-the-top.

I don't think so. I think he earned every bit if it. Well, in fairness, it wasn't his fault he was drafted that high. Somewhere late on Day Three seems about right, where he could have been a project.

Look at this little guy trying to join in the fishing with very weak bait.

And he did it all while being shirtless

Few d-line observations.

-Ostman looks like he's filled out.

-Avery is barely 6-0.

-Sweat is still using his brace.

-Hargrave is a pot belly stove.

-Toohill needs to bulk up.

They were with Agholor

We have to hope they learned from that failure

I think I remember reading Sweat is always going to need a brace. His college injury was a near career ender

You have to remember that Agholor was drafted in the 1st round. You just don't give up on that quickly. JJAW was the 2nd round so I think they wont give up on him yet either

That is some Grade A pungent B.S.

Todd pinkston also a 2nd round WR as a rookie had 10 catches 181 yards zero tds. His second year he had over 500 yards his 3rd year over 700 with 8 tds.

Now while JJAW and Pinkston have totally different skill sets id be ok if JJAW had a similar progression as Pinkstons next 2 seasons.

Well being a second round pick and literally losing reps to guys off the practice squad, guys off the street, and 4th string tight ends warrants bashing.

There’s certainly been some unnecessary over-the-top bashing through the years but JJAW isn’t one of those cases imo.
