Davis just can’t run routes.  No crispness in his cuts.  Because of that, despite his speed, other teams did not see him as a deep threat requiring safety help when he was called up last year.  He has had four years to learn how to cut and it didn’t sink in.

It’s very difficult to handle a veteran malcontent.  At least with Jamal Adams he’s going to a team with Bruce Irvin, Bobby Wagner and KJ Wright who will be the leaders, and can let Adams let his play do the talking.  Ironically that’s where Thomas was to begin with, and burned his bridges there.
 

I don’t think you want Earl Thomas anywhere near your young talent.

Has it been 4 years?   I thought last year was his 2nd in the league.

That's going to be tough. Rush can be a top 4 DT for most 4-3 teams. We're going to carry 10 DL, so it's Rush vs. a 6th DE for the last spot (Ostman, Toohill, Miller).

I gave up hope the jazz would ever win one after the league robbed them against the bulls.

I dont enjoy the NBA as much as i used to, the total lack of anything resembling defense is difficult to watch.

They didnt trade for him because they knew he'd be released and they'd have 1st shot at him to sign him.

Agree.  NBA isnt what it used to be.  Now it's just shoot 3's, drive and kick for 3's or shoot FTs.

I still enjoy a close game in the 4th qtr but even that is filled with 10 million time outs.

I'm hoping this new generation doesnt join forces and team up instead of trying to beat each other.

Watched the Eagles Live twenty minute glimpse.  Looked like Jones was at least in a jersey and shorts.  Since most action shown was DL,OL and STs, unclear if he was practicing.  On KORs, they had Hightower, Watkins and Killins catching.  Goedert was on those in his normal position. Just went to install and they cut away but Ertz was in there.  Could not tell if Lane was. Scott at RB.  When they showed a clip of RBs together talking with the coach, Sanders was there but like Ertz, in pants.  Suspect bubble wrap in full use.  

Unless Ertz wants to offer us a team-friendly deal, I would not extend him. While I think he'll age well, he will not age well enough to not suffer any decline and be worth top 5 TE money. So if he wants to get paid for past production, let him walk.
