And then the cops let him walk right by.

That appeared to me like he was expecting them to arrest him right there and threw his arms up. Then they rolled on by and he just left, went home. Nuts. That department is a joke.

this is the issue the left driven media creates.

In this case (I didnt follow the story at all) Ill assume some level of wrong doing of the cops. What I heard was the guy said he had a gun in his car and was going to get it. He was tased first and it didnt work. He leaned in to his car and thats when the cops shot. The question I heard was- Why did it take 7 bullets? Excessive? Im not sure but for the sake of this discussion, sure we will go with that.

In Floyds case, yeah... wrong doing by the officer/s for sure.

But the media portrays these guys as angels. Media loved reporting the line where Floyd's daughter said something like "My daddy changed the world" and showing that pic of him with her on his shoulders. Portraying some wonderful family man.

In fact, these guys were horrible, horrible human beings. Though that does not excuse what the officers did in those moments it matters a LOT for a different reason. If the media reports on the part where both resisted arrest, and talks about their criminal history a lot less people are a lot less mad. Its infuriating for this to happen to an innocent person, a hard working, honest man, and wonderful father.  Its not quite so infuriating when it happens to an absolute POS which these guys were. A lot less likely to riot over this. Most of the people protesting and rioting probably have no idea these guys arent who their news channels portrayed them as.

So many more lives have been lost in riots and protests since the Floyd incident. Many of those might have actually been good people. The media has a ton of blood on its hands. Its a huge problem in this country. Thats a massive understatement. I dont have words to describe how frustrating it is.

This is why I have an issue with the professional athletes getting involved.  Their platform is HUGEEEEE.  They could make a real difference but here they go protesting/boycotting games for horrible guys.  Do an ounce of research before hopping on the media hype train.  The issue is that Lebron James might have 10 million followers.  8 million of them will buy in to anything he says right or wrong just because they are big fans.  He could say keep burning down the cities and low and behold his fans will do so.  That scares me.

Now the media is going to pounce on the 17 y/o kid from last night.  IN NO WAY am I supporting him but he has the media trifecta...white male/AR-15/Far Right...they are going to use him as a prime example of taking guns away and how the Far Right is looney....ignoring all of the other deaths that have occurred because of riots.  It's pathetic.  He was wrong and should be taken care of accordingly.

Our country is in a bad place right now and it's 90% because of the media and social media.

Also, I find it odd that Kenosha, Wisconsin was home to that many people who know how to burn and loot like professionals.

Completely disagree.  The most logical expectation is that Mills will play at the same caliber he did at CB, which was a liability.

I’d be very happy to be wrong, but I see the inevitable script playing out in him having to be taken off the field at some point, with Parks or Wallace taking his spot.  I’m just hoping Schwartz doesn’t throw him back out there at outside CB anymore

Mills always had good technique and good instincts just never had the speed to make up for mistakes. He doesn't need that speed at saftey and can rome and use his instincts at saftey better. All the best corners moved to saftey and their career was prolonged because their loss of speed didn't affect them as much at saftey so this is where mills can shine because he won't need that speed there. He is already making plays in camp and reading plays and blowing them up.

The RNC just showcased a couple pointing guns at protesters and now a kid just killed 2 of them. I agree the media should not be glorifying that.

Playing Corner and Safety are two different skill sets. Mills didnt have the foot speed to play corner. At safety that lack of speed will be negated by not having to run stride for stride dkwn the boundary with his back to the ball. At safety things will be more in front of him and hell have to read and react.

Mills also played safety in college and i thought that was his natural position in the pros and ive said as much in the past.

I think hell be a better safety than a corner his skill set is more suited for safety. How much better not sure.

Firebombing car dealerships three nights in a row isn’t protesting

OK the couple pointing guns had every right.  The whole story is what's never told...private property, fenced in completely destroyed and broken in to.  Sorry, if that's my house I'm defending it too.

He was forced into playing corner his rookie year and he did an ok job and they won a super bowl so I think people expected to much from him the following years. I think he will do pretty good as a safety

The facts are that someone in the commission of a felony murdered two people.

The only fact is that we disagree. The rest is your point of view.l, which we sometimes mistake for facts.

Why.  He is 17, did not have an Illinois FOID card, so he can not own a gun.  That has nothing to do with feelings or interpretation, it’s a fact.  He broke the law.

No. Dead wrong and disgusting. You’re not "right” if you think 2 + 2 = 57. You’re not right if you think the earth is flat or q-anon is real or whatever crazy crap you think is right. Objective reality is still a thing. You should try it sometime.

believing that it’s ok to travel to another state with a rifle to take part in a vigilante action and kill two unarmed people because you’re scared is not reality. This is murder. You are wrong.

Glad we had this talk. I wasn't sure how you felt the first 30 times you said the same thing.

yeah. that was a really weird inclusion on their guest appearance list.

But... back during the Floyd thing when the riots started many cities had rumors that there would be rioting and people were going to be bused in from other areas and they were going to target the suburbs because, white people live there.

This rumor happened here in Hazleton. The high school cancelled its graduation parade they had planned. Wal Mart barricaded its doors with pallets, etc. It didnt really affect me too much. It affected some people but not all that scary.

Same rumor made rounds in my elderly aunt's neighborhood in Sacramento. They were coming there specifically. Rioting and looting, damaging property. They were told to take in any flags, and other instructions to look inconspicuous, less patriotic, less like a rich white person lives there. iirc they were even told to maybe stay somewhere else for a while.

This old woman was scared for her property, as well as her own well being.

Had protestors shown up and someone feared for their lives, I wouldnt blame them one bit for being armed.

That whole scene with those 2 lawyers holding the guns was really weird and just such an outlandish kind of thing to bring to the national convention. But... maybe they were scared too. Have to think about if it was your family with an angry mob at their doorstep.

Agree with all except the trying to taking the guns away. Asking for common sense gun laws, like a 17 year old kid shouldnt be walking down the street with an AR seems reasonable to me.

Banning bump stocks high capacity magazines, better back ground checks and cool off periods annual licensing and registration sound reasonable to me and none involve taking any guns.

The theyre coming after your guns is more media sensationalism.

Because does his family own property there?  Do we know at this very moment know it came across state lines? Maybe he did break the law but to what degree?  We will find out. At this moment the only fact is we disagree.

He doesn't need one in WI and was the rifle given to him in WI? We don't know yet.

Multiple pictures of him with it on his social media.  He owned it before the shooting.  Serious question, can a minor who resides in one state just go to another state and buy an AR-15.
