yeah. that was a really weird inclusion on their guest appearance list.

But... back during the Floyd thing when the riots started many cities had rumors that there would be rioting and people were going to be bused in from other areas and they were going to target the suburbs because, white people live there.

This rumor happened here in Hazleton. The high school cancelled its graduation parade they had planned. Wal Mart barricaded its doors with pallets, etc. It didnt really affect me too much. It affected some people but not all that scary.

Same rumor made rounds in my elderly aunt's neighborhood in Sacramento. They were coming there specifically. Rioting and looting, damaging property. They were told to take in any flags, and other instructions to look inconspicuous, less patriotic, less like a rich white person lives there. iirc they were even told to maybe stay somewhere else for a while.

This old woman was scared for her property, as well as her own well being.

Had protestors shown up and someone feared for their lives, I wouldnt blame them one bit for being armed.

That whole scene with those 2 lawyers holding the guns was really weird and just such an outlandish kind of thing to bring to the national convention. But... maybe they were scared too. Have to think about if it was your family with an angry mob at their doorstep.

Number #1 rule of gun safety is to not point at someone you don’t intend to kill. Being armed is one thing cause you fear for your life (which is an entirely other topic), but pointing armed guns at people? Not okay.

Because does his family own property there?  Do we know at this very moment know it came across state lines?

If the shooter was a minority you would not be saying "but what if his parents owned property in another State!?”

those people did probably intend to defend themselves and property. And had the right to do so.

Their lives were not threatened.

 thats not really your call to make. Had that been your front porch you might have felt differently.

Multiple pictures of him with it on his social media.  He owned it before the shooting.  Serious question, can a minor who resides in one state just go to another state and buy an AR-15.

Nope, but one can be given one by someone in WI. I think weapons charges are the least of his problems.

There’s video...it’s not a "call”. No one ever tried to attack them.

well, apples to apples- the people also didnt try to shoot them. had the rioters attacked, those people would have defended. That is their right.

Cant agree with you there

its an actual enumerated right. Shall not be infringed. It was put there for many important reasons.

californias mag ban fell in the courts and rightfully so

In that case why cant i carry a machine gun or a bazooka. Denying me so is infringing on my 2nd no?

They definitely broke the first rule of gun safety.

Glad we had this talk. I wasn't sure how you felt the first 30 times you said the same thing.

And your viewpoint has been rapidly evolving to all of our amazement?  Your exaggeration demonstrates how hopeless your position is. 30 times in three posts. Got it

yikes.

but the mob definitely broke the first rule of trespassing first.

You can have a machine gun actually. Fill out the class 3 paperwork. Bazooka isn't a firearm.

Glad you are amazed. I can cross that off my list for the night. Back to football now?

Agree with all except the trying to taking the guns away. Asking for common sense gun laws, like a 17 year old kid shouldnt be walking down the street with an AR seems reasonable to me.

Banning bump stocks high capacity magazines, better back ground checks and cool off periods annual licensing and registration sound reasonable to me and none involve taking any guns.

The theyre coming after your guns is more media sensationalism.

I've never shot or even touched a gun so I'm not one to have any say.  Anything that involves common sense is OK in my book however.

Yeah sure, I’m sure you’ll have amazing insights there too, as always

You can in theory, though i suspect you would find either quite difficult. You can buy machine guns though quite rare and expensive since their manufacture was banned essentially. hardly practical for personal defense

eventually i suspect that suppressors etc will cease to be nfa restricted and rightfully so.

First rule is treat every gun as if it is loaded

Which type of brotherhood is he looking for? Like sibling brotherhood? or arian brotherhood?

So you can infringe on my rights for those? Where is the line?

Won’t be surprised. Waiting for him to quote Stalin thinking it’s MLK.

@ToastJenkins still waiting for you to clarify your state comment.

Which requires being permitted to have one by the ATF.

Banning high magazines arent infringing on gun rights. A magazine isnt a gun its an accessory.

Like i said common sense gun laws. One can argue about current law or the constitution but the constitution is a fluid document. Amendments by name are meant to be amended.
