You mean five teams didn’t put in claims for Killins?

31 other GM's are asleep at the damn wheel!

Just not that much of a market for a slow 180 lb WR who doesn't have a big role on STs. Great guy to have on the PS, but the beat writer hype on that guy was getting out of hand.

We are hell bent on having Wentz's career go the way of Andrew Luck aren't we? Matt Pryor at LT, are you F****** kidding me? You are going to trust the blindside of our fragile franchise QB to Matt F****** Pryor? Pay Jason Peters his F'in money and move him to LT.

FFS this Front Office drives me insane.

Howie does it again!

nah, if Glenn can play. Let him

I'm putting the best combo out there if I have a choice

I have a feeling Peters doesn't want to play LT right now. Whether it's his weight or something else, I think there's something else going on there than just him holding up the team for more money.

They also cut ex-Eagle Toth.

Would’ve been nice to have him on practice squad last year developing. Cardinals being dbags put him on their roster with a less than stellar oline coach.

I was thinking this too. Maybe he thinks guard will be easier and doesn't want the pressure and burden of being the LT. It's part of the reason I'm skeptical about him as the RG. What kind of shape is he in, how motivated is he, durability, etc.

I think ideal scenario is put Peters back to LT AND sign Glenn to backup. That at least solves the "who will play when Peters pulls himself" question. Pryor will be fine at RG and you have Driscoll/Herbig as his backup.

Been saying this for a couple weeks now. Cordy Glenn has starting experience and is a nice Backup swing tackle to have with experience. I think it gives you some insurance when pryor doesn’t work or Peters has to leave a game. He’s competent. He’s not great but at least competent

Health is the concern with him or you'd think he'd already be on a team.

I wonder if there is a price point difference between reupping JP and signing Glenn?  Or perhaps a convenient negotiating tool with JP.

Or Howie is trolling the media and fans. Just because

Probably health but with who’s available still worth the risk. I trust him more than the other options.

He's definitely worth a look. We're pretty desperate.

Remember all of those years when all those Eagles players restructured their contracts to help out the organization because it’s part of a winning culture to do so — and it was a huge factor in being able to bring in enough talent to get under the cap and win a Super Bowl?

Remember Peters ever working with the organization to help out?  Nope. Remember Peters keeping himself in shape to play last season?  Nope.

Peters has his money.  He has a position at RG.  Let other guys who want to help the organization win and are motivated play LT.  If Cordy Glenn looks competent give him a contract.  I’m almost positive he wants to play LT for the Eagles more than Peters does

I like those.

I can't believe what I'm reading.  Wanna know how Petes helped the team?  He was great.  He helped and encouraged and taught and coached the other offensive linemen.  His teammates love him and see him as a leader.  You trash him because he didn't restructure and now, speculating he wants more $$ if he plays LT?  Awful.  Just awful.  Crawl in a cave and meditate on ignorance.

The nice camp seemed to vault Sweat in your eyes, but he’s athletic so he matters more to you.

Are you suggesting that I would selectively interpret vague and likely meaningless/manufactured training camp reports about Sweat and JJAW to fit my pre-existing beliefs about each player?  Naaaaaah.

See in bold above.  The NFL is a 2020 business.  Was Peters any greater than Adrian Peterson?  I’m not the one speculating he wants more $$.  I would even pay him consistent with what Andrew Whitworth is being paid — $6.67M.  That means if I were Howie I would offer Peters a handshake agreement that all his incentives will be paid if he moves to LT.  No renegotiation necessary.

Let’s not pretend that the Eagles are mistreating Peters here; that assertion is ridiculous — and if you don’t think Peters’ refusal to restructure on his past contract would have an impact on any present negotiations he may be having with the club, you’re being delusional.

I mentioned this as my top option when Dillard went out. Makes sense.
