I think with a 4th RB probably being inactive anyway you can get away with 1 or 2 guys on the PS and activate them the day before the game if someone is dinged

Still think at some point if sanders gets dinged up or Scott gets injured that they make a call to freeman. He fits what they want. However with sanders, Scott and clement healthy i think they believe they are fine.

3 drafts ago*

A lot of players in Rasul Douglas' draft range were already on different teams. Sidney Jones though is a bad miss; could never regain his pre-injury form.

Last year, which was technically his second year in the league he made more good plays than bad, made a key play to beat Dallas that helped us win the division, and was taking the next step and trending upward

wow, it’s almost like you have to be patient with a guy who was injured when you drafted him.

And then who the inactives are.

Ughh...  already getting heartburn...

Roster is obviously out of whack with 6 safeties, 7 WRs, 8 OL and 2 TE’s. WIP for the next few days

I can't stand WIP for more than a few hours.

Eh solak and kapadia broke down the all 22 and he wasn’t as great as those plays made him out to be. When you go back and watch they were actually fortunate teams didn’t attack him more as there were plays left out there.

I was a fan of Jones at the time they drafted him. I could’ve went either way with him or Mixon. I got why they went Jones with his upside if He ever return the form. But the reality is I don’t think he can stay healthy anymore and I Also don’t think mentally recovered from that injury with his injuries. When we drafted him I talked to one of the Arizona coaches here. they loved him (Hated playing against him. Thought he was a better prospect then peters was when he came out prior to injury) because they thought mentally he was tough that he could get over that type of injury based on when they played him and that he would still have his dynamic ability to make plays. But reality is if you can’t stay healthy for longer than one or two games at a time you just aren’t gonna make a team based off the fact you were strictly a second rounder And a handful of good plays. I thought it was telling when Schwartz said time was running out.

Well at least shocker has something to call about if the flyers break our hearts tonight lol

So, just to clarify for the present, Dillard and Perkins are on the IR now, meaning they're done for the year.

And Brandon Brooks is on the PUP.

Are we going to have to cut another to put Brooks on IR?  Or does he stay on PUP going into the season?

Alshon being active certainly throws a wrench into things.

Hope a few of those guys are back on PS or even roster after things are finalized.

Epps and Ford making the roster over more promising guys like ostman prince raquon williams even opeta comes down to them being able to play special teams. Ford was awful on teams and Epps offers zilch as anything other than a special teamer one would think they would keep guys to play special teams that could at least offer something else in a pinch.

But the Jets’ draft was a departure from our previous drafts too...

It’s like everyone wants to be the Chiefs

I’m guessing they’re going to move him to IR and sign someone.

Can’t activate from PUP to place on IR according to Kempski.

At some point gonna need of take him off PUP or he’s done for the year. I don’t see him playing this year.

Barnett

Sidney Jones

Pumphrey

I never hated a draft so much and also never never got so much hate as that draft night and onward for voicing those opinions.

You are entitled to your own opinion good sir but I just don’t see how you can make this assumption after only 2 years. His first year back was a joke but that was to be expected. The Dallas play I’m referring too happened late in the year last year which is something he can build confidence off of and regain some of that mental toughness you mentioned

Teams threw at him 31 times last year and he allowed 2 TDs and had 2 interceptions. I mean he ain’t Revis but certainly not terrible by any stretch of the imagination, esp for a guys 2nd year coming off a horrific injury.

Cutting Rasul on the other hand won’t get you any pushback from me. That guy was throw to 71 times and gave up 6 tds and had 0 picks.

I had some hope for Hollins and even liked how they went for 2 speed guys with Gibson even though it wasnt their plan. But it was quickly apparent Gibson didnt have it. And Hollins was a very brief flash in the pan before getting injured, and then deciding he only liked special teams. Of course both of those guys ended up being terrible too.

Horrible class.

Just pointing out he was barely even on the field during training camp because he couldn’t stay healthy. At some point in time you actually have to be on the field consistently to play in the games or make the roster. He can’t stay healthy. It’s been a problem the last two years and then again in training camp. That’s not a two-year thing. that’s now heading into year three in training camp. he was having the same exact problem he’s had for the better part of three years dating back to his Achilles.

add on go back and listen to so solak and kapadia in their podcast want to say it was about two or three weeks after the season ended. They went back and watch the games from the Dallas game and others during that time. There were a ton of players left on the field by those teams that sidney Jones made a mistake or was out of position.

You can make whatever Excuse you want but he’s been hurt over the last two years as much as he’s been healthy. Additionally when he’s been healthy, he’s had times where he’s been a healthy scratch because the Eagles can’t trust him to make it through a game healthy. Again he was hurt all through training camp. This is routinely a big problem. He might go somewhere else and thrive but maybe he needs to get away from Philadelphia because here he can’t stay healthy and clearly the team doesn’t think much of him
