Panic move in response to Solder opting out?

Why is that such a big deal?

It's not. It apparently was for you guys to get it changed though. Oh well 🤷‍♂️

It’s an extension...

Still can't even imagine NFL going bubble.  Would be such a massive project to handle so many people in addition to all players, who would first have to agree to isolate.

Almost impossible.  And def not doable in 1-2 months time.

Cox/Hargrave/Jackson is gonna be ridiculous to watch.

With that rotation, Cox should get more snaps off which will allow him to be fresher later in the season/playoffs (assuming we get that far).

I think with as many people youd need local bubbles. Put up the players at a nearby hotel. Shuttle them to the stadium for practice. Shuttle them back to the stadium. For games, shuttle them to the airport. Youd need to probably take them right to the tarmac where they board their private plane.

The problem with this is that as minimal as the entertainment is said to be in the NBA bubble, you still see them fishing, playing golf, etc. With a bubble like Im describing, Im not sure where you can find entertainment for the players. Might need to set it up at nova care to give them a hangout spot. Im sure they have a room with pool tables, air hockey, etc. Probably need to bring in a barber like the NBA has built a little barber booth. Maybe arrange private tea times at a local golf course where they pay enough that the course is closed for certain hours...

Hopefully they stay heathy. We keep signing players that are supposed to help Cox out but they end up getting injured

If Mike Greenberg hadn’t been from Chicago he’d be a Cowboys fan for sure.  He’s much worse than even Wingo

Greenberg is from NY, Jets fan.  Worked in Chicago, went to Northwestern

That's an excellent list. One might argue about the order but all those players are worthy. Not a bum in the bunch.

A nonstop rotation of disruptive defensive tackles can make a defense great.  They can take an extra blocker freeing up a d-end, keep traffic off linebackers and collapse a pocket forcing quarterbacks to rush throws allowing your d-backs to play more aggressive.  Definitely going to be exciting how they work together.  I also don't want to get too hyped up about this as we don't know what Jackson is going to bring to the table.

I think the battle for the 4th DT spot will be interesting too.

Do they keep 10 d-lineman?  6 DE, 4 DT?  5 and 5?

BG, Barnett, Sweat are locked in at DE and Cox, Jackson, Hargrave are locks for DT.  There's 6.  Ridgeway is a borderline lock but Raequan Williams could be a surprise.  Hector is back on the PS but pulled up at various times.

Avery/Ostman/Miller/Toohill will be a fun battle too.  Again it's a numbers game.  How many do they keep?

Doug knew football, but he was a total a55hole about every opinion he had. He was grating...I was glad when he disappeared.

I remember being totally confused by that trade because I had no idea who Jason Peters was at the time. I do remember @justrelax being out-of-his-mind giddy over the acquisition...which gave me confidence that it would work out. And boy did it work out.

I wouldn't be a tenth as smart about the Eagles as I am now if it weren't for the EMB blog.

Thanks for remembering when I got one right; it's rare enough. Even so, while I knew he was really good, I can't claim to know how good that was.

"You guys”?  Go ahead and quote where I mentioned it needed to be changed.  I’ll wait.

You liked both of his posts asking for the change. One would take that as a sign you cosign the post

It's not that serious though so you can drop it.

I thought this was az cardinals not St. Louis. However still not shocking that 5+ more tested positive being in the dugout and clubhouse with guys who had it.

He’s crying cause Conn the title of the thread at the request of Nova and then tried to blame me.  Then wants to "drop it” after he was proven wrong.  My wife pulls that ish.  LOL.
