May 23, 2025May 23 Singling out one company and penalizing them for making a product overseas is so beyond the pale it's stunning, even for the Orange Imbecile. The EU tariff stuff is bad, but putting a "tariff" specifically on iPhones is bananas and clearly illegal and unconstitutional. If he goes through with this, it will cause financial markets to spasm. For the good of the country, I hope Apple takes the government to court (they will win), but I fear Tim Cook will make a pilgrimage to the Oval and make "concessions" (maybe buy a bunch of the meme coin) to avoid a fight.
