It's BS spin from the White House that implicitly defines blue collar work as hourly non-supervisory, which isn't the same.Trump has de facto eliminated a ton of hourly positions with ICE and immigration policies. Means those who continue to work for hourly wages are likely already being paid more per hour. So the average goes up when lower paying jobs are wiped out. Most of the applicants to the Omaha food company after Trump arrested a large portion of their workforce come from the same immigrant communities. This is stupid theatre for stupid people.
