  • Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

Audi A6 and a Mercedes B class natural gas hybrid that my wife drives (thing can't outrun a riding mower but it is nice to feel the superiority of being climate conscious, haha)

You liberals would drive Subarus.

DOW tumbled 800 points today for those keeping score at home.

I have a year old Outback (my second, I really like driving it. This one has the turbo, the first was a bit of a dog ro drive) and a Crosstrek from like 2022 or something. I gave that to my son, and ill probably get one of those for my daughter as well.

I have not worried about having a flashy car since I was single (which was a really, really long time ago). I look at my car like I look at my fridge, or washing machine. It's an appliance. Just give me one that's reliable, affordable, and has the features I want. We just bought an Outback. Got 0.9% financing and a nice discount. I looked at everything out there and found it was the best car for the money.

Before the Mach E we had a MINI.

so….. you know…..

They are really good cars IMO.

I had a twin turbo mustang when I was younger, but got rid of it when the family stuff started.

Last year we rented a minivan while on vacation at spring training and I’ve wanted one ever since. We’re heading down again in 2 weeks and I’ve been annoying my wife by getting excited to have the minivan again.

The wife has an Odyssey. I prefer my sedan but when we need to cart kids around and not have them right on top of one another it's a nice drive.

I can't say I love it. But I appreciate its utility.

Nothing has made me want to settle down less than you guys talking cars.

Uh oh. -92,000 jobs

In all seriousness, I would drive the ugliest looking car in existence for my children.

You know it's getting bad. I went to work today which is an off day (we only go to the office T-W-Th) and BOTH EV chargers were occupied.

Crazy, Hope you can get home.

The only good part about losing 100K jobs is that I thought it would get ya'll to shut up about cars, but no.

Can we even trust this report?

I like to keep her charged between 20-80% and rolled in RIGHT at 20%. Was feeling good until I saw that. I have enough juice to get home but I'd really rather not take the battery any lower if I can.

I don't know. I don't trust anything that comes out of this BLS but they're not releasing numbers that make them look worse, so if they're lying on this one then whoa boy, I don't even want to know how bad it is.

I'll give you a push if you need it. Just give me a call.

Are we great yet?
