I have an email where I could log in BUT I just can't do it!!!!!! Young son paper statement shows -4.54% for 1st qtr before most of this madness started. Edited to say I did check in on my funds (what little I have) 1st qtr -6.53%

If I follow my plan, I'll start getting hit practically in two years time when I want to be able to start to pull some from my 401k (not a 401k but Swedish equivalent). I can extend it a year perhaps without changing much but otherwise I'd need to go back to working full time instead of my current semi-retirement, golfing, and traveling setup which I just started. Either that or I'll have to make some significant lifestyle adjustments. Bad timing for me but it is what it is.

Not even counting the fact that the tariffs go into effect tomorrow. If all stands pat we will plummet. It was a really strange time for him to declare victory but we know he's just parroting his Twitter feed.

The idea that these tariffs will increase investment in American factories/manufacturing/tech/infrastructure etc during his term seems incredibly naive.

Sure, the markets will recover but for people like you (and me as I'm discovering 😩), well that's just too bad. And all because of decisions made we have no control over 🤷♂️
