RTK, don't fall for it, they're just trying to cover their tracks. Lurie wants you to think it was all some mix-up but you should still delete your account just in case. Better safe than sorry.

The NFL saw dollar signs and looked to find teams that have large international appeal and/or fans that travel well.   The color schemes took a MAJOR backseat OR, the NFL didn't do enough due diligence in identifying Sao Paulo as the site to understand the nuances.

Or maybe they did.  The "home” team is wearing the colors of the home soccer team (Corinthians) on Friday, black and white although minus the red.  The "visitors” are wearing the color of the opposing rival team, the crosstown Palmeiras).  Coincidence?  I think not. So color wise this scheme is similar to what a Liverpool and Everton in the UK  playing at Anfield to put it in terms of soccer teams we are more familiar with. Where the Eagles would have the Liverpool colors and Green Bay would have the Everton colors.  Makes you wonder if the Eagles will be favored by the Corinthians fans and the Packers would be favored by the Palmeiras fans (and how confused the Corinthians fans will be by Eagles fans sporting midnight green or Kelly green jerseys and tshirts.

BTW, I now know far more than I want to about Brazilian soccer teams.

First the ads now this. Damage control Monday

Hopefully @VaBeach_Eaglecan make it so any text that has "@_MLFootball" automatically changes text to like "Poop" or just censor it as profanity so people can't embed tweets from that clown account anymore. I and others have been stressing for a while how that account posts nothing but fake news trash yet people still keep sharing content from it.

I tried adding a filter but it does embedding prior to the filters kicking in

Yeah, because when I think "Eagles", the first two colors that come to mind is: Black and White.   :nonono:

Hmmm... I wonder if there is an NFL team where black and white are pretty much their regular uniform?   Raiders?   Steelers?   Even the Saints would make more sense in that regard.

There's no need to tie yourself in knots trying to make the NFL not look stupid on this one.  They clearly didn't consider the colors, which you even admit when you talk about Eagles fans coming in the team's ACTUAL colors, rather than this black and white façade.  NFL is squeezing that golden goose harder and harder in an effort to get her to lay bigger and bigger eggs.  And in seeking new money streams, they continue to alienate their actual customer base.

Hasn't this already been explained like a million times. Why is it now damage control?

No worries, we can still mock MLFootball for fun.

I was just being sarcastic. In a joke that’s literally only funny to me, I saw the two topics being discussed here and on Twitter it was the Eagles tweet about the political adds and that one back to back.

So what's gonna happen with Reddick? Is he just not gonna play this year or...?

That’s encouraging for fangio to want to throw him in considering we’re pretty stacked at CB. Or maybe it’s because everyone else is bad

I'm not ready to call the position "stacked".  They have a lot of bodies there, but the vast majority of them are still question marks, and that includes Darius Slay to a certain extent.  He's now 33.  The cliff is coming for him.  The question that has yet to be answered is if he's already hit it.

Rodgers hasn't played in over a full season.  What effect will that rust cause him?

Mitchell is a rookie.  Highly regarded, but a rookie nonetheless.  Will he live up to his potential?

Dejean is a rookie... coming off an injury.  Same question.  How quickly can he transition to the NFL game?  Will he live up to his potential?

Ringo... a 2nd year guy, but with just about as many questions about him now as we had last year.

So, there's a lot of guys there... but we'll find out how many of them actually work out the way we hope.   No guarantees.

I haven’t paid enough attention through training camp.  Are we assuming Slay, Quinyon on the outside, CJGJ and Blankenship at safety, and Maddox at nickel?

It will be interesting to see how long Blankenship and Maddox can keep Sydney Brown and DeJean off the field.

Brazilian Supreme Court has now already crawfished on the fines for using VPNs, so the reporters should have no issues posting on X now.

However, if that picture of the smoke at the airport is real….and current…the NFL is being reckless by keeping this game there.

The popular theory is Slay/Mitchell in "base”, Mitchell moves to Nickel when needed and Rodgers plays outside when he does

Not sure if that would work with a Tweet (or whatever it's called now), or not. @Moderator12 is the keeper of the profanity filter though. If it's something that needs to be done, he can give it a go and see if it would work.

If it's still heavily smog ridden down there by tomorrow, would really like to see the NFLPA step in and advocate for a change of venue

Nah, don't add a filter. It's entertaining to watch posters like RTK faceplant on these fake stories. Free entertainment.

Pretty logical. Teams versatile CBs do this. Ex: Chiefs with McDuffie.

There just aren't a ton of players that are capable of doing both

That would be smart but they don't care about the players vs the money that would be lost and the black eye of backing out while trying to break into a new market. The players need to join together and say F this.

Not hard to cancel it and have the game Sunday in Philly. They would sell out in minutes. I can't find any updates.

The sign seems real but I’m assuming someone is stealing the team’s trademark and it isn’t actually affiliated with the Eagles. Regardless of candidate, I don’t think teams market and outright endorse political candidates. At least I don’t recall any.

I missed the sign.  Where was it displayed?
