He'll probably stay 2 more years, maybe 3, he's getting counseled about the "50 game rule."  Since he's likely to be the first pick when he comes out, perfecting his game before going to the pros will help him survive on a bad team - Uncle Peyton knows all about that!

He will stay this year and next. Is zero reason for him to stay as a senior.

Still feel very good about tomorrow, expecting a comfortable win. Offense should still put up 28+. Defense will be much better than they were vs GB.

Hopefully it’s not serious. Sirianni clearly downplayed the severity of it.

Yep.  No reason to risk anything at this point in the season. 
 

Should see how Hurts is able to adapt - and hopefully see some other guys step up to the plate - Goedert, Smitty, Dotson 

Assuming we need to elevate Campbell, I am guessing that means no Gates on the gameday roster. 3rd TE is more important than backup C, especially since Dickerson could slide over in an emergency. Kinda think they should elevate Stoll for blocking and focus on the run more with AJ out. 

Also, bold prediction - Covey has 3+ catches tomorrow.

Yup, this is a big point. Even without AJ they should still have zero problems moving the ball. 

Brown will be out several weeks.  Book it

Losing your #1 WR on relative short-notice (game plan is delivered on Wednesday of game week) is where the QB/play-caller makes their money. Good way to evaluate Jalen and Moore.

My concern with Hurts is that I don’t think he elevates other players around him, rather it’s AJ and DeVonta making him look better. This is why you paid Saquon. Lean on him tomorrow and let Hurts just manage the game.

Time for Dotson to justify the third round pick we gave up for him.

The entire point was that he was a legitimate starting level WR who could cover for an injury and still play in the slot when everyone is healthy.

Yeah, it’s short notice, and yeah, he’s relatively new to the team, but this is where you make money as an impending free agent.

Also curious to see if Wilson gets more game time. He’s the only other big WR we have. Different type of player than Brown, but if he wants to carve out a role as a rookie, this is his opportunity.

I feel like Hurts has more rapport with Covey than Dotson or Campbell. Look for our favorite - WR screens to Covey.

I agree that Covey is likely the statistical beneficiary.

I’m also thinking Wilson gets a lot more PT since he’s the only other big WR on the roster. Maybe he won’t get much more in the way of targets, but more snaps. Wouldn’t be surprised if he has one long jump ball catch either.
