It's sad how much quality has decreased in the last 25-30 years for almost everything. Soda in a glass bottle with natural sugar was amazing.

I don't disagree.  But he has had a #2 overall pick, and a hand selected #3 overall pick at his disposal.  Maybe HE is the reason that he's never had a 'quality' QB.

Assuming you mean Matt Ryan, this is a similar case with Reid too. He took McNabb with the 2nd overall pick and came pretty close to winning a title with him. Matt Ryan was arguably even better with Shanahan (won MVP that year and led an offense that built up a large lead in the Super Bowl.)

China has what is called "The Great Firewall" where they can limit traffic into and out of the country. I don't know if Brazil could implement similar, I imagine they could if they wanted to. It seems to be a moot point now anyway.

It seems like it would be very easy for them to work around the ban either way. Just post what you want to Threads or some other platform, then have an intern located back in Philly just repost whatever you write there into your Twitter account. Easy.

He was only in Atlanta for two seasons. Ryan had the best year of his career and went to the Super Bowl under him in his second year. RGIII won ROTY under him and then he was done after the knee injury. He's turned a Mr. Irrelevant pick into a potential $55 million/year QB when he's due for a next contract.

Just dawned on me that you were probably referring to Trey Lance with the "hand selected" part of it. Duh, not sure how I missed that. Yeah that was an awful pick, he deserves all the criticism for that one.

Apples to oranges. Driscoll came out of college with solid technique.  His biggest problem is a lack of junk in the trunk yet G sized arms. He failed as a G but performs well enough as a back up RT.  Hennessy was brought in as a backup IOL and primarily a C.  They brought in Gates in TC because injury (something with his back) derailed Hennessy.  Scharping was used primarily as a T in TC.  He’s not.  He really is a G.  Problem for him is Keegan was better than the expected and probably better than him at G.  

Right now, the backup RT is Steen if healthy and Steen probably has better potential at G than Driscoll ever had.  Both Steen and Fred Johnson can play G and both have junk in the trunk.  Eagles are carrying 13 1/2 OL between the 53 and 70.  All but two, Keegan and McMahon, (and the half, Vakalahi ) have NFL playing experience.  Not as worried about depth as I was going into the offseason.  I agree with @FranklinFldEBUpper, back ups don’t need to be All Pro but do need to be serviceable.  I also like developmental and they have that too.  From what I saw this summer, Fred Johnson = our version Big V. @just relax, feel free to comment.

White got first-team reps all camp. I don't understand where this drama is coming from. I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume he's actually hurt and there's no need for him to travel internationally when he can stay close to the facility to continue to get treatment/rehab so he's ready for week 2.

Guess is, he was informed Dean beat him out and he figured no use trying to play through an injury that was nagging him.

He signed here because the room was weak. Can't imagine he's happy with the optics of getting beat out by a 3rd round pick and a long time backup.
