This is a major game planning issue. If your first 10-15 scripted plays can't get you a score, you're doing it wrong.

I guess I'm just old school, I like my quarterbacks to be able to read a defense, read progressions and play smart. I'll take that over being able to run the ball and throw a mile long.

Just like I like my wide receivers that can run routes and have great hands over pure speed.

Ok, so I mentally checked out after Hurts’ sack/fumble all but ended the game and I had to watch my daughter’s soccer game…

* Devin White liked a tweet about Lavonte David sacking Hurts?

* Isaiah Rodgers said he intentionally shoved that Buc into DeJean (fortunatey not injuring his teammate in the process).

* Slay posted and deleted some nonsense about his resume and remembering the highs.

* Hurts said some more passive aggressive BS about him and Sirianni.

This team is so unbelievably cooked. I’m over all of it.

Sirianni said turnovers are a team stat and not Hurts fault

We need to get rid of the coaches and Hurts and start over. Plus 80% of the team.

Probably just worried about Hurts saying mean things to the media if he doesn’t toe the line.

It was well documented that Sirianni and Hurts did not get along, don't see eye to eye and a major lack of communication. Could still be affecting the team as well

Oh I forgot, Bryce Huff finally had a solo tackle!

With all that, they're a dropped pass away from being 3-1 and the NFC looks like dogshit.

This season is far from over as meh as they've looked. Honestly, this season is a win win. Either they get healthy after the bye and turn things around. Or they don't, this thing crashes and burns and we get all the desired drastic change we wanted back in January. If things continue to look this way throughout the rest of the season, no one in this organization is safe sans maybe Howie and even him I could see I wouldn't say his seat getting warm, but feel a little bit of a tingle.

Agreed. The list of players that are must keeps for me, especially on defense, is not a long list.

They did an incomplete job last year by not firing the HC.  When a team collapses the way they did last year, they should have cleaned house, not just removing the coordinators.  The fish stinks from the head down.   This team has lost the turnover battle in what 12 straight games now... that's 100% coaching, not just a bad game or two.   And it seems that the locker room might just have been lost... or is still lost.

I'm not interested in the excuses about why this team can't get out of their own way, or why the HC and QB seem to have issues getting along, or why the QB keeps turning the ball over like he's allergic to it.  And then there's the obvious... your best offensive weapon is Saquon Barkley.  He got TEN carries today.  TEN.  That's a fireable offense in its own right.   They had NO ONE at WR, and yet they decided to come out firing away right from the first snap of the game.  And I don't want to hear about Vita Vea.   If this OL is what everyone seems to think they are, then you impose your will on Vita Vea, he's just one man.  He's not an impenetrable fortress that must be avoided at all costs.   And we saw what happened.  Barkley busted a long run... even though he only had 10 opportunities.  8.6 ypc last week.  8.4 ypc this week, but they dare not ride him.   EVEN with a bye week looming for next week to allow him to rest up for the return, and then have Brown and hopefully Smith back.  And I know all about the way the game went and how the score ended up.  It was 24-0 at one point... and yet it was Barkley that tried to put the team on his back and will them to victory, when they finally gave him a chance.

This team is disgusting to watch sometimes.  And more frustrating than you'd think would be possible.   Top 2 Wrs are out.  They are lined up against a guy that Hurts struggles with in head to head matchups.  So, why not lean on the best player you have?   Nah... let's air it out.  Sounds like a great plan.  Worked perfectly!

Oh, and Isaiah Rodgers is a moron.  He probably bet on the Bucs.   Cut him.

Eagles - 0

Bye Week - 69

Bonus: Siri survives the week, but we get a juicy drama/‘leak’ from the talking heads on the dysfunction.

Well... he doesn't really 'throw a mile long' either.   He can throw a deep ball... if he's got a clean pocket and can step into it.  Other than that... his arm is rather pedestrian.

On the same hand, they are a 3rd and 16 non conversion away from being 1-3

All the more reason to sit hurts for a week or 14.

I would say it's almost Lakers season, but they won't do sheet either

We need Herman Boone to coach this team.

This team is a 9-8 team. It has poor coaching. But enough talent to overcome it against a good portion of teams if they are healthy. Frankly Howie should move guys like slay and some others at the deadline and just go with young guys. It’s pretty obvious we aren’t winning a SB. So maximize value at the deadline and get picks cause likely need them if hurts keeps up his fumbles and turnovers.

This is true, but I'd also venture to guess most teams are a play or two away in several of their games going the other way.
