Let's not crown Jayden Daniels yet.  He's been playing great but we've annointed QBs before and they fell off.

We crowned Hurts, Wentz, RG3, etc after small sample sizes and they couldn't maintain that high level of play.

 

McKinney might be playing the best safety in the NFL this year, and CJGJ has been one of the worst. McKinney was the Eagles top target, but they bowed out after signing Barkley and Huff.

To be fair RG3 got injured and was put back in when he wasn't ready. Wentz was physically injured and then emotionally damaged after the SB win

Should have just paid McKinney and passed on Huff. There were some cheaper options (Van Ginkle, Floyd, Uche, etc)

Eagles 34, Browns 17

Washington and Dallas put up 34 and 33 points against Cleveland while the Browns have been unable to put up 20 points in any game this season.  It will be very concerning if this game is close.  If the Eagles lose this game, you can sell shares.

They didn't bow out, GB went bonkers on his contract and Howie wouldn't match. In hindsight, he probably should've because it's shaping up to be a pretty weak agency period meanwhile we had what, 53 mil under the cap? Which was the most ever in our history. Howie going all Georgia guys isn't looking like the wisest decision either. He needs better personnel guys to lean on, the likes of Caldwell and such is hurting us.

I still wonder what damage the hit from Clowney caused.  He carried a toothless WR corps to 4000 passing yards in 2019.  Then got smashed in the brain box by Clowney.  And 2020 was a disaster.  That seemed to be the final nail.

That hit knocked the pocket presence out of him too. Frank covered it up the best he could in indy and I thought he did alright there and probably should of got a second season there, but once he was thrown out the door there...well team...5 now?

He's a journeyman backup QB at this point.   And frankly, earns a really nice paycheck to do not very much.   I'd take it.
