Also, not the biggest deal in the world, but just head scratching of why we bothered to sign Parris Campbell to the 53 over Sydney Brown just for him to take up an active spot and not play a single snap all game.

Just another case of history repeating itself... Albert O, Rashad Penny, etc.  They keep players on the 53 for seemingly no reason only to let them rot there while others are left off and exposed to waivers, etc.

This is how they manage the roster.  It's almost surprising that they didn't just let Devin white share that same fate.

Can we get Calcaterra on the sleds every day? He looked pretty good out there after the catch. If he could just block a little bit, he could be a nice piece.

Sirianni apologized for yesterday.

Mailata is going to be out a few weeks. Wouldn't say the plan to replace him.

He can block…just not in line.  Which for some reason the coaches insisted on having him do for the first few weeks.

Good point.  @EaglePhan1986 trims his pyubes once a year and keeps them in a mason jar on his spice rack, in hopes of finding a cure for crotch alopecia.

I figured you stole them when you slept over Saturday night baby girl

This is my take without getting deep at all. This Eagles team with the OL, WR, TE, RB they have should be makings things look easy when in fact nothing looks easy. They should be running up and down the field with the talent they have but they don't. Everything is a chore. Nothing ever goes smoothly. It seems like a dysfunctional mess rather than a well oiled machine.

In 2022, we were +8 in turnover differential and had 27 takeaways (17 int, 10 fumbles). In 2023, we were -10 and only generated 18 turnovers (16 picks, 12 fumbles). This year we are -6 and have only 2 ints all season. The offense is always on long fields.

We really need to start generating turnovers on defense. We were #4 in the league in takeaways in 2022, dropped to #23 in 2023 and are dead last in 2024.

Yep, this is a biggie.

On the turnover differential side it’s both sides of the ball. The offence has also gotten way worse at protecting the football. We went from T-5th in 2022 to 26th in 2023. It hasn’t been the same, clean operation we had in the SB year.

He looks like a butthole

not @hputenis’ bleached one though

Think Detroit would do a Malcolm Rodriguez for Josh Sweat straight up trade?

The Ending Of Succession Season 3 Episode 8 Explained

The Eagles only ran 2 play action passes yesterday. It's honestly laughable how poorly managed this offensive structure is.

Curious to see if mailata goes on IR. Couple weeks seems like 2 maybe 3. But if he goes on IR he’s definitely out a month

How much of that is structured and how much is what Hurts can’t or won’t do? Same question regarding the reduced amount of motion.

Oregon giving us a glimpse of what the Eagles old and new (kind of) shades of green look like together.

There was a podcast last week called 'On the Shane Page'.  Johnny Page talks about how frustrating it is to not see the Eagles run Moore's staple outside zone from under center scheme.  They note how play-action passes on early downs are statistically the most successful plays to run.  He even suggested that if Hurts is uncomfortable under center to run play action from the pistol.  And what do you know......the 20+ yard pass to Calcaterra yesterday was play-action out of the pistol.

I'm guessing he does. AJ Brown said the same thing and missed 3 games, and may have only avoided IR because of the bye week. Mailata's just looked way worse than Browns as well.

Bring up Driscoll and his shiny #75?

It just occurred to me.... this was the first time Saquon won at the Linc, wasn't it.

So we got that going for us, which is nice.
