This is on both the coaching and the QB. How can this be such an issue? I'm going to say it. This is what you can fix during preseason games. Those games can be valuable in ironing this sort of stuff out.

Has Hurts played a preseason game since his rookie year?  There was the field trip to the hospital when he was supposed to start one time; I don’t think he’s even suited up since

I thought McNabb got a standing O?  Or do you mean during the game, not his introduction? Prior to the game he was wondering out loud if he would be boo'd though.

Yeah, he played one series against the Jets one time where he was cheap shotted at the sideline and Sirianni went nuts on Saleh.

First cold night since March.

Both Siri & Hurts talk about accountability, learning, etc but this is very fixable. 

Just binge watched the entire 4th and final season of Eastbound and Down.

I just watched the whole series about a month ago.  

If you have Netflix check out a show called "Tires".  Pretty funny and it's only 6 episodes but they're doing another season next year I think.

Given it was a new Center / QB combo and a new OC they absolutely should have got some snaps in pre season.

If I remember correctly, I was at that game.  Prior to the start, people cheered (for the most part) but during the game it was business as usual (boos, etc)

And that's to be expected.  But despite McNabb saying in interviews he expected to be boo'd (always the victim) he got a standing O.

 

I honestly believe his time in Washington made him realize that he was relativity coddled\protected and the fans had his back here vs what his perception was.  Shanahan fed him to the wolves and the R-words fans eviscerated him.  Sure, we boo'd him when he sucked but if you looked around the stadium half the jerseys had 5 on them.

Yep.  I (and a bunch of my friends)  had #5 jerseys when he played here. 

@eagle45 Id be interested in your monday morning QB plan on this McCain injury from last night.

 

Do you think the breathing issues were caused from the head injury? Or possibly some cervical involvement?

As far as on court management, hes struggling to catch his breath. The 6ers seem to have 4 guys who just assume if the wait there long enough he will calm down and catch his breath. From the looks of him, Id probably be getting him set up with some supplemental oxygen at a minimum but Id probably also make sure someone is ready with an airway adjunct, among other emergency devices should he lose consciousness. 

He went to the hospital. No update on him yet.

Hurts doesn't like throwing in the middle. So the coaches have less routes in the middle of the field. So Hurts has less chances to throw in the middle. And it perpetuates.

You need Max for this. I'm just buying all my old favorite shows on DVD. Who knows when streaming services will add more commercials, up their costs, remove episodes they find offensive. DVD's are dirt cheap right now. Buy the whole series for less than $30 and be set.

Agreed, but there are those that think it's Sirianni's offense and has nothing (or very little) to do with Hurts.

Its so weird how those people dont want to acknowledge that this wasnt Siri's offense before he came to Philly. I tried saying it so many times the past few years.
