2 of my 3 starting WR's in my big fantasy league this year were Aiyuk and Godwin, I've had a hell of a weekend (not that Aiyuk was exactly posting blockbuster numbers this year)

Anyone can cherry pick one draft pick with the advantage of 20/20 hindsight.

So how do you value landing one of the best safeties in the NHL as a UDFA?

Donahue didn't have 20/20 hindsight.  He was pissed as it was happening, which is why it is a point of contention.

And you are suggesting that Blankenship is one of the best safeties in the NFL?  That seems premature.

Anyone want to take a stab at what this means?

Apparently Lafleur said something in an interview recently about wanting his players to wake up with 'their piss hot' whatever the f*** that means.

Jordan Davis would be an All Pro in Baltimore. They just know what they're doing there, consistently have really good NT and LB

Baltimore have a deeper rotation, as I pointed out at the end of last year our DT's had a way heavier workload than any of the 4 Championship teams and we lost Cox who carried the heaviest load of them all without getting a replacement in. Baltimore would have Carter and Davis fresh and firing all season as opposed to slowly wearing them down, we play 13 weeks straight to end this year, the interior DL is going to look gassed down the stretch.

It’s sad to watch these other teams light up the Bucs D and Hurts struggles to get a first down against them.

Hurts didn't have AJ or Smith against them. Not to mention Lane was also out that game. Eagles should've run the ball a ton that game.

Actually, against Tampa, even if Smith and AJ were playing, YOU SHOULD RUN THE BALL!  It's the way to offset their blitzes....then...play action off of it.

What? Not confident about Nakobe Dean trying to tackle Derrick Henry?

I'm envisioning the Lehigh player as Henry and the punter is Dean

I got crapped on so much two years ago when I said Lamar was better than Jalen.

Just letting you all know

And not crapped on willingly like what @hputenis and @Godfather do to each other

I’m more of a #1 guy, but no judgements towards the real extremists.

Time for Howie to work some magic. Dotson doesn't have a role here. Trade him to the Bucs. Ainias Smith is back, Parris Campbell is on the 53 now, Covey comes back soon.

Still waiting for the Dynamic Kickoff to be dynamic. You'd think by now that kickers would know how to kick the ball and force a return, rather than have the ball come out to the 30. The NFL can't keep it as is. It's just terrible.

Sidenote. Jake Elliott is making his easiest money of his career. Mann does the kickoffs and he's averaging 1 FG and 2 XP per game.

Blankenship is a perfectly reasonable starting safety. He's no where close to a top 10 safety. We've just been thirsty at the position since Jenkins left.

Just to revisit the offseason coaching discussion …

I said if the Eagles have a good year, Siri stays and Kellen Moore becomes a HC, leaving us with someone new running the offense in 2025.

If the Eagles have a bad year, they all get fired anyway.

The Eagles are sort of threading the needle right between those two scenarios where you might see both Siri and Moore return.

This is worse purgatory than QB purgatory.

Not really.  With a QB those 2 guys would be looking great

I agree.  He's competent.   And, unlike most of the rest of the defense, when he gets his hands on the ball, he seems to be able to hold on to it, which is again something this fan base is thirsty for.   But, he's not a top 10 guy.  I'd say he's probably not even top 20.   He's an average safety, which is a massive upgrade from the likes of Terrell Edmunds, Kevin Byard and the others that have cycled through here in recent years.   He might develop more into that guy, but he's not there yet.

The clap.  He wants his players to get the clap.

The Eagles seem to be actively avoiding any returns which has seemed especially dumb when they are in a one score game and they are kicking it to the other team late in the game.

The offense has not used the WR3 much in the last few seasons.  They were blockers or decoys, and not getting a lot of looks.  Dotson so far has been used the same way, Campbell also.  Convey may be the only exception whom Hurts has thrown some passes.  But then Convey is too small as a blocker and runs short routes as safety volve for Hurts.  He has a role.  In that capacity, not sure any prime WR would be interested signing here.   More the same, IMHO.

Paying a QB $255M to be barely average?  You could say that

I don't know the rules, can we trade him now or do we have to wait a little longer?

I think he’s OK to move, just not back to WAS.
