This isn’t the only hit on civilians during US campaigns abroad. It happened in Afghanistan and Iraq too. Hospitals and schools, weddings and funerals. For the most part the US admitted to these strikes. They had their excuses human shields, fog of war, etc. The same outrage portrayed then by the American populace is the same as now. We can all agree civilians shouldn’t have to be the ones who pay the price of war but, hey in today’s modern warfare it’s going to happen. We should still express our outrage and ask better of our leaders to prevent these tragedies. I for one don’t think those we have in command right now are up to the task. Hopefully better minds will prevail.
