They never attacked citizenry a la Ghengis Khan siege warfare style which is what Drumpf and Kegsbreath are explicitly saying they want to do. The hope here is that if they do bomb infrastructure tonight, they will at least attempt to call it dual use because otherwise it is in fact a deliberate war crime.

April 7Apr 7 Trump will claim victory because the Strait will reopen and Iran will claim victory because they will get US and Israel to agree to no more strikes.At the end of the day, there was no imminent threat and there is no regime change and at best we are largely back to the world as it was before this dumb war started. However, Trump will still try to sell to his base and probably do it successfully to a decent portion of them because they are dumb that he got his regime change with Khamenei now dead and overlook his son being in-charge.Be interesting to monitor how Iran pays for the rebuild - I suspect they will try and move to a higher tolling charge for ships passing through the Strait over time.
