Well they need to raise funds for reconstruction so always figured something like that would be the long-term concequence of the war.

So to summarise, we more or less get back to the situation we had in the previous Iran nuclear deal that Donald Dumb tore up. The same regime is in charge and it gets sanctions lifted and funds unfrozen in return for committing to not seek nuclear weapons. I would love to know how this is going to be monitored and how it compares to the old deal.

But in addition going forward the world now has to pay a tolling tax for any fuel coming out of the Strait.

I am sure the MAGA idiots that raged about Obama's deal for lifting sanctions and unfreezing funds will be equally mad about this.

Hormuz tolls paid in yaun, no sanctions, much weaker nuclear deal than Obama had, regime still firmly in place. I'm pretty sure we'll be back to nuclear threats by Sunday.
